A Form cannot make a non-updateable query into an updateable one. You need to
fix the Query instead!

Ok, I've been messing with this problem all day (for those of you who have
been following me, I'm so sorry!). But I think I finally figured out the root
of my problem. I have created a form that allows users to enter in an
employee's clock number using a combo box and it automatically generates the
employee's name in a text box next to it by pulling information from the
Employee Data table. This data shows up fine in the form view and the
datasheet view. However, when I open the table up that this data is being

I "copied" a form from a pdf, and "pasted" it to a create a form, and
added fields to it and it worked fine, until recently. I tried to
print it and Access "encounters an error". Since I couldn't figure it
out, I recopied the form only from the pdf form and pasted it,
creating a new form. I just tried to print the form without adding
any fields, and it still "encounters an error" when I try to just
print it. Other forms work, and this one used to...what in the world
could this be, and how can I fix it.

I have created a form for transactions with an autonumber field to generate
a transactions ID. I have received a request from users of the form to be
able to roll back a new record (in the case of data entry error) so that the
transaction ID does not commit to the database. They do not want to delete
the record as this would generate 'gaps' in the transactions ID sequence eg
1, 2, 3, 5 and so on.

application thinks the paper is white so does not print anything.
How can I change the default paper color from white to another color?
Unless you have a higher end printer and white ink, you can't do it.

I have a form that queries a table based on multiple filters, such as Part
Number, Part Type, etc. Currently the search code is enabled to search for
one part number entered in a text box, and the search results are displayed
in a subform.

I just upgraded to ACCESS 2007, and so far have one difficulty. After I
create a new form, and test it, it doesn't go true full screen. I can't get
it to open without all the top Access menu bar being visible. How can I test
it on a true full screen?

A few years ago I created a form to be used with Exchange's public GAL. It
has and is working OK.
I am now running Windows 7 and Outlook 2007 and ran into this problem. When
I go to the public GAL and create a new contact using a form I created after
it is saved I don't see the contact. If I go to someone elses PC that is
running Outlook 2003, I see the contact I just added and yes I have full
Admin rights to my PC and the Exchange server.
So I was wondering if the form could have something to do with it.

it prints on previous printed text (hence overlaps text). Only occurs in

I cannot seem to be able to print html formatted emails in Outlook nor can I
print from Internet Explorer. They are printing blanks! Plain text emails
are printing just fine. Any ideas???

I have created a holiday gift label in Publisher. I do not however need to print a full page for each relative. Can anyone help direct how to print a specific number of labels as opposed to a full page.

This is the ugly way of doing it.
I use Publisher 2000.
I take a piece of 8�"x11" (in A4 country, use A4) and some Scotch Temp tape

marks show up around the images like the guidelines I shut off on the

I’ve got an Expense Report DB that I split into a back-end (tables) and
multiple front-ends (for my users). I understand why one needs to split the
DB, however because I’ve tailored the switchboard and some other forms to the
users (using filters, etc) I now realize I’ve created a maintenance nightmare.
These users will not be creating any forms, reports, macros or functions.
They will simply be adding or possibly deleting records from the tables via
their forms. From what I've experienced, a FE doesn't lock multiple users
