It used to be you could highlight a column, do a Copy and then, when you selected paste, you were presented the opportunity to Transpose. I am not offered the opportunity to Transpose. What gives? Hello all, I recently moved from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003. I have multiple HTTP (Hotmail) accounts that I migrated. Very often, Outlook 2003 confuses the folders from these accounts, such that I click on the inbox for account A and see the mail in the inbox in account B. When it does this, it seems to do it for all of the folders in common (so the junk email folder for account A also shows the junk email for account B). Oultook 2003 and Newsgroups
It's been quite a hassle getting Newgroups to work. You have to make your Default Outlook Express and it will work perfectly! Don't select Outlook News Reader has your default or the NEWS will dissappear under GO. After creating a new user in exchange 2003 it takes from a couple hours to a few days for the email address to create, or show up. Even when we send the new user a email. Is there a command or script we can run to speed this process up? You can try to restart the System Attendant service under "Services" this may help populate the address field faster. Outlook 2007 on Vista Shuts down when opening mail.
I have Office Enterprise 2007 on Vista Business running both a pop account and an exchange account. I only use exchange (SBS 2003) to share a public calendar and contact list (no email) with 3 other users. When I open Outlook and it is receiving messages (I have the reading pane open) it will sometimes just shut down with no warning. When I reopen Outlook the reading pane is closed. If I reopen the reading pane it works fine for a while and then it happens again. I run AVG Antivirus without the Outlook add in. I just run the pop account filter. I have a large table where the column A is also the lookup column. Basically, I'm doing a moving average over column A. Problem after migrating from Exhange 5.5 to 2003 !!!!!!
we have successfully migrated from EX 5.5 to Ex 2003, but have encoutered a small issue, some users that get migrated accross to the new server cannot delete emails using outlook 2002 Sp1.. the Deleted items Icon is not shown as a recycle bin icon but comes up as a normal folder... you cannot move anything into this folder nor can you right click and empty the folder.... any ideas? the weirdest thing of it is i we moved 2 users and one was ok the other had the above problem. both moved at the same time to the same server all help is greatly appreciteded Have you tried running outlo...

I created a template in Word 2003 for group use. A lot of people have opened it and used it then saved the resulting document. However, there are some other users that can open the template but cannot do a Save As. The template works but cannot be saved. The template does have some protected sections and I tried turning that off but it still doesn't work. I have never seen this before. Any ideas? Exchange 2003 and active sync
We are having a problem trying to get active sync to work. When I setup the connection to use ssl, it will not connect. I am thinking that the certificate for the exchange server is named the url of our webmail and i enter the server name as machinename.ourdomain.com If I uncheck to use ssl, it appears to connect but continuously prompts for a username and password, as if I entered it worng. I want to take advantage of some of the new features of the Outlook 2003 ..pst file format, namely the bigger capacity. After I upgraded OfficeXP to Office 2003, the settings migration worked just fine. Now I want to upgrade the .pst file format. Is that necessary and if it is, how do I do it? Hi folks, I've got a quick question on using Mailbox Manager on Exchange 2003. We have a spam mailbox that collects about 60% of our incoming mail. I have created a Mailbox Manager weekly job that deletes Inbox mail older than 30 days. It always gets about 99% of the messages but inevitably leaves a few stragglers behind. When I past one word file into another word file the font and spacing changes and it doesn't appear to be consistent with either document. By default, the formatting of the target document determines the formatting of pasted text (unless the pasted text has direct formatting applied to it).
