That's not a Windows file.

Uninstall ZoneAlarm and utilize the built-in Windows XP Firewall.

Your computer will likely be faster, you'll be just as protected from
outside dangers and you won't have these bizarre issues.

Look here :

There are several good links in the forum above from 'ambellina' about 6
post down.

Do a search in google for tvdebug.log delete for more info on your
problem.
Ccleaner is a great free program that will delete that program along with
temp files and much more.
If you do use Ccleaner, I would advise against using it's Registry Cleaning
function, unless you are very experienced.

PS: I have been using Ccleaner for years and it is great.

CORRECTION:
I meant it will delete that log file tvdebug.log and not the ZA
program. Sorry.

Actually, Ccleaner will also remove programs thru its Tools function, if you
want to do it that also.

Sudden Log File Growth
Hi, we had an issue today where our 20GB log disk was almost full in about 2 hours. Normally we use about 2GB/day on our log disk, and then it's cleared after our nightly full backup. I looked at the log disk and there were about 45x5MB log files from 9am to 10:05am, then at 10:05am there were about 21x5MB log files per minute until we were alerted when the disk was down to less than 5GB of space at around lunchtime. I took the exchange cluster resources offline with about 700MB of space left and expanded the log disk for exchange on the SAN from 20GB to 50GB. We have an anti sp...

Bad Mail log full (2003)
Running exchange 2003 on server 2003. The Bad Mail log fills up until the drive runs out of space. If I try to open that folder or delete the bad mail folder, it locks up and i have to reboot. The only way to clear it is to format that drive. I can find no settings to limit the amount of space the log files take up. Right now, i have the log files on a 25 GB partition and its full, i just ignore the notice that i'm running low on that disk drive and everything seems to be running ok. I'm sure there has to be a way to limit it. Thanks for any suggestions. Jason "...

Excessive Exchange logging
Exchange 2003. Server has about 300 mailboxes, with about 80 Entourage Clients, the rest are Outlook. This is also the main mail gateway for our organization, with 4 servers connected over a WAN link. In the past few days, the transaction logs have really swelled, and yesterday I had 22 gigs in one day. The stores aren't increasing, and all mailboxes are in normal size (our limit is 100MB). I have looked at the SMTP logs, and there are no connections that seem out of place, only from our mail gateway and other Exchange servers. We generally get about 5 gigs of traffic inboun...

I checked the logs and there was a crawl initiated within Exchange, although I don't know what a crawl is and I'm not so sure that I've even heard of it. Cleaning up log files under \Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA folder?
One of our exchange server is running out of space, I noticed there are a lot of .log files under \Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA, which was dated since day 1 when Exchange Server was created. What is the standard procedure in cleaning those up? These are your Exchange transaction log files; do not interfere with them manually. You need to perform an online backup with an Exchange aware backup program. This will purge the log files on a nightly basis (assuming you choose a full or incremental backup). As a short-term measure, you could enable circular logging, but this will limit your abil...

Exchange 5.5 IMC Logs building up?
I recently started routing my inbound mail through the messagelabs towers for virus & spam scanning and since have had to change my Accepted Connections to 'Specify by Host' as per their instructions. When SMTP Protocol Logging is enabled logging information is written to the IMCDATA\Logs directory. The level of logging set, eg min, max, determines ...

Scanning logs
Hello all I need to scan and rebuild logs dependent upon a certain time span, i.e. anything over 4 days olde than today. The beginning of each entry is formatted yyyy/mm/dd hr:min:sec. Now, I know I can have a loop of reading in and creating TimeSpan object from each entry, call it 'T1', and subtract today's date, call it 'T0', from 'T1' and if the difference is equal to or greater than 4 days remove the entry; continu looping until an entry is less than or equal to 4 days. But, for some reason that seems awfully inefficient Seems to me I should be able...

Macro is not logging out of Great Plains
I created a macro to login, run checklinks and then log out. I set it up in the Task Scheduler on my system to run after hours, using a bat file. It worked for several months, and then in January it didn't finish the macro and log out. I would come in the morning, and I would still be logged in and the scheduled task was still running. I had to end task and delete my login in Great Plains. I have tried recreating the macro, I have tried running it on the server, and I am still having the same problem. In most cases, the report is generated - so I know the checklinks are finishing...
