Does Windows 7 have an included email application? If so, does it support

Windows 7 does not include an email program.

I use the free Windows Live Mail,(http:\download.live.com) but there are
many others also available.

No it doesnt have a default mail app, you make your own choice
Windows Live Mail - free from MS
MS Outlook - an Office component you purchase
Thunderbird - a free app
etc

Great. Thank you. From the little I read about Windows Live Mail it sounded
like it only supported HTTP webmail. Glad to hear there is still a free ms
solution for the most common SMTP and POP protocols. I guess Exchange is
another matter. That's not so bad though...

Killer macro idea for business mailings
One of you programmers should write a macro to validate a city from zip code. I receive excel files from response cards and a lot of people will put some random letters for their city instead of the actual city name, or maybe they'll put the wrong abrieviation for their state. It would be awesome if all the zipcodes could validate the state field and change if necessary and the same for the city fields too. Okay, have at it :) Okay, well good idea I think anyways, but it turns out that my columns just weren't wide enough so it didn't display more then 2 letters. ...

Thank you, Terri What you've done will work. Mail will not Send/Receive automatically
I have outlook set up to send/receive every minute but it suddenly stopped doing so. Anyone have ideas why? Robin Several. For starters, a one minute polling interval is just nuts. It is difficult to determine why automatic polling is failing when you do not post your mail account type, connection type and polling settings. If automatic polling once worked and now fails, you also need to examine what changes were made to your setup before automatic polling stopped working. In general, here are the reasons automatic polling might fail in Outlook: 1. You have created an unrealistic po...
