Vista 64 Critical Updates Without Internet Connection?

I bought a refurbished computer for a customer and we're having problems
detecting a Netgear WN111v2 USB wireless adapter. The first thing I think is
update Vista 64 Business but there's no Internet connection on the machine.

Is there a way to get all of the Vista 64 critical (and related) updates
downloaded to my local dev machine then burned to a disk I can then install
manually? I'm paging through the test.catalog.update.microsoft.com website
at the moment but haven't done this before so confirmation may help me out.

Win98SE and Comcast Hi Speed Internet (cable)?
Does anyone know if it is possible to get Comcast Hi Speed Internet (cable) to work for Win98SE? They (Comcast) don't support it, but I was wondering if that generic Win98SE USB driver (nusb) could work for a USB modem, or if that depends on the specs of both the generic USB driver and which specific cable modem you have (I doubt if any current cable modems come with any USB drivers for Win98SE). I killed the automatic response (effectively killing the loop) but I am left with 150K emails in one PF and 680K emails in another PF. All tolled they represent around 7 GB of disk. My problem is that in Outlook you can only delete 4K entries at one time and that will take days to complete. So I attempted to delete one of the PFs itsel...

Connections and ##temp tables
Hi, using Access 2003 and SQL 2005. I have an Access application that uses a combination of pass-through queries and dao recordsets to load forms and reports. This is not an Access Project. My question is about design. A search populates a table with parent record IDs. I then have a bunch of stored procedures that use an inner join on this table to filter records. In a multiuser environment what is the best practice method to ensure that the table of IDs is not compromised by an user's search results?
