ISA server: logging no good

Hello friends of the SBS and ISA softwares.

My SBS 2003 comes stacked with ISA 2004 right?

And i've been using it ever since, works all good, but i feel like i'm
not taking any real benefit from it, in terms of logging and knowing
whats happening with the internet access and websites visited and
who's leaching all the bandwidth.

If i go to Monitoring / Logging all i see is anonymous users and ip's.

That doesnt help me the least.

I would like to see:

- local usernames
- local computernames
- website addresses being accessed

Same when i generate a report.

Please help me get all the benefits from my ISA server.

You have to change your ISA rules and use "Authenticated Users"
instead of "All Users". Then you have to configure your users browser
to use ISA as their Proxy.

For reviewing Websites visited by your users, ISA does not have this
report. You can only have top 10 most visited websites or something
like that.

I have a freeware program that does exactly what you want.

Hi Alain, hadn't seen this post nor your utility when it was pointed out to
me, you have my $5 (as of about 30s ago), looking forward to trying it out.
(for others, yes there's a freeware version, and extra facility available
for a pittance)

Hello Michael!

I really hope you like my program. You just received version 1.3 but I
already have version 1.4 ready to go. Just a few more days of testing
and you will receive the updated version. Updates are free for
registered users.

Here's a few features:
- New column showing bytes send/recvd
- Sort ASC/DESC on any columns
- Remove user 'anonymous' from the report
- Options button allow changes to options
- All program settings are now save to file
- The html produce by the program is W3C compliant
- Built in CSS included (6 templates)
- Number of records in the databases is now displayed with the
database name
- No more RegEx for specifying domain name. It was too slow
- Major performance update
- All exceptions are now logged to file

Thanks for your support !

Forcing Distribution list to new server
I just moved to a new Exchange 2003 server following the procedures in knowledgebase Article 822931. This move was from one Exchange 2003 server to another 2003 server. outgoing failure and non-delivery messages from SMTP server..
Hi there, I have one machine that I use sparingly as a mass email server. Of the thousand or so emails that go out from that machine once a month, a couple of hundred of them are bound to be wrong or changed email addresses. The SMTP server sends out "Delivery Status Notification (Delay)" and "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" messages, soon after the intial sending of the mass emails. However, when I turn off the SMTP server, or keep the machine off for a few days, then I don't get any of those failure/non-delivery messages. But as soon as I turn on the mach...
