Media Center Screen Scaling Issue

I have a desktup running 2 screens. My main runs at 1650x1080 and the second
is 1280x1024. I always run my media center in a window streched to the max
size on the second screen.

The problem is that I can't get it to go to 4:3 in windows 7. In Vista I was
able to do this by dragging the media center so it was overlapping both
screens and then maximising it. That used to make it 4:3 when it was restored
but that doesn't seem to work in vista.

The first week I was using 7 I did get it to behave but I have no idea how,
now it's stuck and I can't seem to fix it.

Here is a screenshot:
http://www.creativenetworks.ca/mediacenter.jpg

I've played with the settings in media center a ton and it never changes the
ratio.

I suggest that you drag and drop a copy of the MC icon to the second screen
so that you start from there.
Also suggest that you go back through the MC TV setup on Win7 and make sure
are not able to set the aspect ration to 4:3 when in full screen mode.

No change with trying the icon thing. I've ran the wizard easily 40 times in
different combinations and haven't gotten it to behave.

When I use the MC wizard for an HDMI TV interface in Win7 the first question
I get asked is is the aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9.
You may have to change the type of display you tell the wizard you have.

You'll have to trust me, I know the product very well and it's not as simple
as that. I've run the wizard many times and have tired selecting 16:9 on the
other screen then going back to 4:3 on the secondary and every imaginable
combination of that with no luck.

Every so often it seems to go back to 4:3 but then for no reason it goes
back to 16:9 and there is nothing I can do to make it 4:3.

This morning for no apparent reason and no changes in settings it's back to
4:3. Just to test I've run the wizard several times + restarted and I can't
get it to go 16:9. Not that I want it to go 16:9 but just to confirm the
settings don't work reliably.

It helps to have the Right Monitor for the Right screen Resolutions

4:3 is Right Resolutions for your Monitor
The settings confirm That for you!!!

This is just a guess, it may be that the setting options in the Win7 MC
wizard depend besides depending on the type of display you are using also
depend on which screen of the extended desktop you are running MC from or on
EDID data from the display used for the screen of the extended desktop
screen you are running MC from.

currency issue
I am using Money Deluxe 2007. I have an issue regarding the currency of trades. For accounts in another currency other than the base currency, when I enter transaction into those accounts, a screen still pops up and asks me convert back to the base currency. Since the currency of trade in the account is not the base currency, there's absolute no need for such. I remember this problem to be ongoing for a long time, I am surprised Microsoft has not fixed this. ...

calendar issues with column headings
I have users that display multipe calendars at once. We are using OL 2003 with Exchange server 2003. When they have 5 or more calendars open, the column heading gets truncated. This is not a problem except that the column header is being center justified instead of left justified. When this happens, the name of the calendar becomes unreadable due to the names being similar in the middle of the calendar name. I found a setting in the views to change this for email column headers, but not for calendars. In OL2007, the calendar column heading is left justified. Is there an easy way ...

Mail Notification on Welcome Screen is not working
OK, guys, I've scoured the newsgroups, and I've scoured the Knowledge Base, but I can't figure out why the hell my Mail Notification is not showing up on the Welcome Screen. I'm running XP SP1/all updates, Outlook 2003, IE/OE 6. Basically, when I'm at the welcome screen, all I see is my name. It's like the Email notification is turned off.... but it's not. I've played around with all the settings in TweakUI, turning the mail notification on and off, using the Repair option, etc. I've even tried manually deleting all the registry entries under HKEY_CURREN...

Hello, still new to Project and learning plenty. I've managed to get Project Web Access up and running, synch A.D. users and upload projects. Vote Tracking issue
Hello everyone. I recently sent a vote out to our exchange users (approx 400-450 users), and noticed that as the responses started coming in, I had to open each one to tally the vote. No problem, I can handle that. The issue is, there are about 75-100 that are not being counted and still remain in my inbox. Is there anyway to process or re-process "Vote responses" so these missing votes can be counted? Thanks, cc Forgot to mention, I'm using OL2003 with Exchange 2003. Recommendation on Weigh Scale for RMS
Looking for a simple weigh scale that will integrate with RMS. Not very expensive as it will be only used for 5% of the items. The other option is to manually enter the weight but it will be nice to have an something directly tied to RMS system. Thx for your suggestions. The only recommendation I can give would be an Avery Berkel 6720, they run around $450. Exchange issue: Outlook 2003 is waiting for exchange 2003
