Not enough memory?

I am trying to send a 172MB attachment, but get the message
"Not enough memory"?
I have 4 GB RAM installed, with a net of 2.87 GB available with nothing
running and 735GB avilable on my hard drive.
Why am I getting this message?
Is there a size limitation in Windows Mail?

I don't know of any server that would allow a 172MB message. Even if they
did, you'd probably end up with a really teed-off recipient when they
tried to download it.

Use an upload site. Here are a couple, but you can Google for more.

Upload large files. An alternative to e-mail.

Your attachment is way too large.

No. But I don't know of an email service which will accept even 50 MB of
email. The largest I know of only accepts 25 MB; but most are limited to 10
MB, or less.

Thanks to all who replied.
After I frustrated myself I contacted the recipient who has an up-load site.
I've never put a file this size together before, so, now I know.

And you can also use www.skydrive.com for large files,

A lot of good that does. Google mail only allows 25 MB for the entire email.
Yahoo! Mail (free) only allows 25 MB for the entire email. Same for Yahoo!
Mail Plus (based on my AT&T/Yahoo! co-branded service). Hotmail limits are
10 MB for the free accounts and 20 MB for the paid accounts. You
'1and1.co.uk' account is probably only good with another '1and1.co.uk' user!

Conflict with USB memory stick.
My program writes data to a file. I use CFileDialog to select the output path and name. I have noticed something odd. If, using CFileDialog, I select an output path and name that is located on my USB memory stick, the file is written correctly. Naturally the CFileDialog has closed. However when I click the tray icon to release the memory stick, the operating system gives me a message saying that it can't release the memory stick, try again later. virtual memory--should we care

But, should this also be done on a Windows Server 2003 with SQL Server 2005 with only one hard drive with 3.50 GB of RAM? And, if so, should both the Minimum and Maximum settings both be set with this amount of virtual memory? This is a 32-bit server. Is there a way to make this box/ window wider? I seem to recollect that this might be done by a registry entry. There are many other ...
