Hi Folks, Is anyone sick of the junk bb's online? I found a new bb that is amazing to say the least. They have all kinds of adult topics that you can post to once you register. They give you all kinds of posting options also, unlike the other bb's online. The site seems to be new, not that many people know about it yet. I am sure once the word gets out, the bb will be flooded with posts. Anyways, take a look, it is an amazing site. They also give you a discount to an adult toy store for life if you become a member, http://www.exoticmegastore.com. If anyone is into adlult toys, the ...

Discussion Forum
We are using MOSS 2007 and I am trying to set up a site for staff/employees to ask questions of Management. A place where users can post and reply... and Management can post, reply, delete or even edit. I have tried a Discussion Board but that did not seem to allow me to set the permissions the way I wanted. I also tried a Blog site but again I could not set the proper permissions. Is there a way to accomplish what I am trying to do and if so how would I do it? Please point me in the right direction. Thanks for any and all help -- mnl1 I've used SP's disc...

Hi. My listing for this forum (All threads) shows the last three responses (at the top) as variously 4/30/2006, 11/4/2009 and then 1/14/2004. Entries for 2010 come further down. Forums Package
We have a business group that would like to move off a really bad web based forums package on to the public folders but the department head has one requirement. He would like to see a "Dashboard" or some page in the root that shows all sub folders (or forums) how many unread posts and how was the last poster and stuff like that? Has anyone made extentions to make the public folder look and act more like web based forums? Oh and better group notification of new posts would be a nice to have as well. Thanks for the help. OT: Easier way to read htp://forums.microsoft.com
Many of us here have resisted spending much time in web-based http://forums.microsoft.com, prefering the simple elegance of NNTP-based newsreaders providing threaded post support. This is too bad, because the other forums have some pretty famous people hanging out there, and staying tuned to what they are saying is valuable. So I was very happy to have started RSS Bandit and SharpReader, two RSS feed readers, instead of a browser to read these forums. They provide a UI similar to Outlook Express and other NNTP newsreaders and are two of the few RSS feed readers that support "thr...
