how do I open files from other versions in Publisher 98?
I have Publisher 98, and am trying to open a Publisher file emailed to me
from someone else. I don't know what version they have, but I would guess
it's from Windows ME, because I know they don't have XP. And when I try to
open it in my Publisher, it says, "Publisher cannot open files from a
different version". Is there any update or anything I can download to fix
this, or do I have to buy a different version, or is there a way the other
person could save their file so that I could open it? Thanks very much.

I think views are registry items and not kept in the PST.
My outlook version is 2002.

I hope I'm missing something in Excel 2007. In Excel 2003, the chart wizard
gives you access to lots of options when you create a graph--graph type, data
range, the various series (including the X axis labels), the chart title and
axis titles, gridlines, legends, and others. It doesn't take long to create
the graph with most of the options you want and then tweak it pretty quickly.
In Excel 2007, it seems that every option is a separate button/menu/choice.

I am trying to create a bar chart with 2 line series. The Y-axis for the
vertical bars would be on the left and the Y-axis for the 2 line series would
be on the right (3 series were defined). The horizontal axis for all series
are calendar months (Jan, Feb, etc.) Every time I setup the chart my chart
only displays a single line, ignoring the other line series. The vertical
bars come out fine.

I have a rather large worksheet that contains a list of all items in a
warehouse inventory. I would like to be able to combine duplicate
items as new inventory is added.
Each item has (among other fields) an item ID, a color and a
condition. I would like to combine only the lines where all of these
fields are identical, summing the quantities in each record, and
recalculating the cost based on the cost field in each record.
Currently, I do this by starting at the top of the list and comparing
each record to all of the records below it to the end of the list.

Is there a way to search trough multiple worksheets for a specific value?
Other posts have mentioned to use VBA, but I have never used that before. If
anyone can give me some advice on using that or a type of formula to perform
that can search multiple worksheets.

the worksheet tabs you want to search in then select Edit|Find from the
menu. Type in the value you want and it will go to the first instance of

(X.TMP) in the folder where I open a worksheet. I haven't
intentionally set (or re-set) any preferences for that.

XmlDocument object and need to save them on a mapped network drive. I use
the Save method of XmlDocument object to save documents. Ican save them
successfully on local drive on web server. But when I try to save them on a
mapped network drive, I get permission denied errors. I made sure that
ASPNET had full access right in the folder where I need to save documents. I
also tried using UNC path, but that also does not work. Can someone please

Can someone tell me if this is possible. I want to be able to create a
chart that represents a week. There will be seven bars and each bar will
represent the day my business is open. I want to be able to enter starting
times in one column, let's say column B and a quitting times in column C.
These two columns represent Sunday. I want D and E to represent Monday.

I have Outlook 2003, and when I try to add an attachment, I cannot filter
based on Excel files in "Files of type". Excel is the listed but other like
Word are. The entire Office 2003 suite is installed on the PC and I tried
reinstalling to no avail.

I am using Outlook 2002 (10.4219.4219) SP2 with a Windows XP Professional
Just in the last couple days I've started to experience a problem with
incoming e-mail messages. I use Outlook to retrieve e-mail from at least
four different accounts, from at least two different servers.
