Using Microsoft Clipart
When I attempt to link to MS Clipart from Publisher 2003, I can download/copy to clipbaord JPG file types no problem, when ever I choose a PNG type it fails with error file type not supported. If I just go to the Clipart site and copy the file then, open word and paste it in it will work. It appears to only fail when calling from within publisher to the clipart site, and, only on PNG type files. Any help would be appreciated. Do you have a viewer for .png files? Microsoft Outlook Error Message: IMAP has received an unrecognized greeting

I verified that he is running on the right ports for our POP accounts, and was disappointed to learn that for Outlook XP, the test account settings button is different than in 2003 (the version we have at the office). On-line training program for Microsoft Project 2007
Hello, can someone recommed an effective on-line training program to learn a basic and intermediate level of MS Project 2007? There's a lot of options. Check the MPUG newsletter. Bill Raymond is teaming up with Versatile to offer a bunch of free sessions. Other options (that I am aware of off the top of my head) MS Project Experts ProjectProCorp Versatile ....and I am sure a bunch of others who will respond to this post. Check not visible for void.. ??
After Year End Closing, we did a test check run to make sure everything worked correctly. After that, the checks got voided. Payroll now found that one of those checks didn't get voided, and when they try to look it up and void it, it doesn't show in the list of checks. At the same time the check is showing on the payroll side and it's making the gross amounts for the month all incorrect. I looked a t the tables on the SQL and queried for the check number, but I don't dare to "try" deleting or voiding the records. What would be the best way to solve this issue? T...

Old New Thing Blog on MFC use in Microsoft
http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2007/01/15/1471731.aspx#comments I found that to be kind of a useless blog article. The author either doesn't know or isn't telling for whatever reason. I don't think Microsoft employees are restricted from saying what they use. The C# group certainly touts applications written in .NET. Whether or not they use MFC for everthing is pretty irrelevant. MFC still provides a good framework for doing Windows desktop applications in spite of anyone's political ploys to say otherwise. I often hear people say "MFC is old" ...

When I went to Help>Check for Updates, I received this: An error occurred while trying to launch Microsoft Update. [PLACEHOLDER} I reinstalled to begin with because Powerpoint no longer launched, either from the desktop dock icon, the application folder or from double-clicking a Powerpoint file. Anyone seen this before? Thank y...

Check Stores
We run RMS 2.0 Store Ops for 14 stores and of course we run HQ at our Headoffice. We are trying to enable the stores to check other stores' quantities of an item. From various discussions on this board this should be possible. We have reviewed some of the threads and we have populated the SQL server IP address into the HQ Client Tab found in SO Admin file/configuration at each store but we do not get a CHECK STORES button anywhere. What are we missing? The stores do sync with the server as all data uploads and worksheets are processed as schedule. -- Many thanks Jack Master ...
