taking numbers in vertical cells putting them in horizontal cells
I'm looking for the formula that will take numbers in vertical cells putting them in horizontal cells. I'm copying from a worksheet that has numbers listed in columns and need to put them into cells that are in rows. Thanks Insert a new worksheet into the book. Go to the first sheet and select all of the cells and use Edit --> Copy (or [Ctrl]+[C]) to copy them, go to the second sheet and use Edit --> Paste Special with the "Transpose" box checked. See if that doesn't do the trick for you. "jhawk22" wrote: > I'm looking for ...

Not so important but just asking anyways
Having an old Dallas DS1620 temperature sensor and got hold of some unholy basic code for a BASIC-II board (well I think that was what it said) thought I would try using it again, the 1620 hasnt been working since i got out of W3.11 after that my ports (think this was going for LPT1) are nono to vb, at least thats what I was led to believe then. Well, now I think it could be done, just wondering has some one already done it? VB6 to read a DS1620 I mean? OS XP, got C/C++ compilers too, if having to make a driver but not the skill for that one. Think I see a lots of posts about port....

Microsoft Excel
I have a particular group of cells within a sheet which I need to group together and sort. However I need to keep the rows of information locked together so when you sort the data it doesnt get all mixed up. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? If it is possible to do the above is it possible to have it to automatically sort the information as your adding it into cells? Is there a way that a "sort" function can be set automatically for a group of particular cells? For example; I have set 6 columns on a spread sheet "Column B - Column G" Say I have 150 rows of informa...

Import Tool Issue
Just got RMS and am in the process of trying to import our products over from QBPOS using the import tool. For some reason, the import is bringing in all the item numbers, but only the numbers for 80% of the items (the description, qty, cost, etc fields are all blank). The other 20% have all the info, and the complete ones are our most recently added items. Anybody experienced this when they imported? Saving in Compatibility mode takes a long time
when using Excel 2007 to open a 2003 workbook, It opens fine, but because of the number of formulas, and the fact that it is linked to two other Excel workbooks, it takes more than 25 minutes to save, excel goes unresponsive, and the CPU usage of the computer goes to 100% (50% on dual core systems). if we open the same workbook in Excel 2003 everything works fine. Why not just use an e-mail client software. Microsoft's Outlook Express is one that works and the cost (free) is pretty reasonable. Other Unix-like O/S also have excellent POP/IMAP clients that use SMTP to send e-mail. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP ...

how do I sync my yahoo inbox (email) with my microsoft outlook at.
My yahoo email account is my main personal account. I love the way outlook is set up and I want to start using it, the way I do with my hotmail inbox, I just don't know how....please help. You can do this only if you have the premium Yahoo POP acct. It doesn't work with the free version. You must use your browser for that. import ost file into Outlook 2002
I have an .ost file that I have saved from an old PC. I believe that it was created using Outlook 98 (but I could be wrong). It would be really appreciated if someone could advise me how this file can be accessed on my new PC which has Outlook 2002 installed. Following the import/export wizard did not seem to offer a valid option. My email address is brimac@au.gateway.net Many thanks Brian ExchangeRecovery http://officerecovery.com/exchange/?204800 ExchangeRecovery is data recovery program for Microsoft Exchange Offline Storage Files. Microsoft Money #9
It appears to me that Microsoft develops great Systems and programmes that have the potential to be absolute. However, my single gripe, and thus this suggestion. The US Tax System is far more complicated than most of the rest of the World. We see in Money 2006 that we can adjust Tax thresholds and rates to suit, by using the "Custom" selection. Why don't Microsoft also include a sub-routine that allows us to re-classify the Tax form definition, and allocate specific categories according to their taxability or otherwise. We don't use Schedul C or 401K in the real world...

HQ Upgrade
I am upgrading to HQ. I currently have 2 stores and will add a 3rd in a couple of weeks. Is there any way to import our old transaction data into HQ. Both stores have the same databases, more specifically, the ID field values are the same for products in both databases. I don't think the transaction info is saved when the master databases are created during HQ setup and the store database is exported. I was thinking about writing a little script to import the transaction data back into the store databases and then let HQ import it into the main database. Unless someone alread...

Voiding Sales takes too long
When we need to go in and void a Sales Transaction in the "Receivables Posted Transaction Maintenance" screen, it takes about 2 minutes to process the void. During this time, the computer basically locks up and the individual can't get anything done. Is there anything that can be done to help speed up this process? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, KJ KJ, Performance issues are generally due to various factors that may or may not be altogether dependent on hardware. It is very difficult to issue an opinion on this issue without really performing an assessment of y...

pst folder imported into exchange 2003
I just installed exchange 2003 and it works great. I had some contact folders (pst) on my exchange 5.5. I exported from 5.5 and then imported into 2003. Now whenever any user uses any contact name from the folder and try to send an email, he gets a return email back with undeliverable message. And another problem is whenever anyone uses this folder to get the email address, exchange shows that retreiving from ENG. ENG is my old exchange 5.5 server name. Any suggestion, please. ...

Workflow 4.0 Take a contact and create it into another account
I'm asking this question a different way as I think workflow in 4.0 could do this. Scenario: When a contact is created or updated for an Account that is a "Vendor" with type "1" then I want to create the same contact for all Accounts that are "Customers" that are also type "1". Please note I need to be able to scan through all accounts (We only have 60) and add a the contact to those who are of type "1". This does not have to happen real time but near real time. I like pictures so here is a text picture of what I'm trying to do...

Outlook 2002 to Outlook Express 6 Import Question
I recently activated Outlook Express 6 and did an import from Outlook 2002. I had four PST files in Outlook 2002 due to the large amount of mail that I archive. When I ran the import wizard in Outlook Express, only the folders from one of the PSTs was listed. How do I import the other folders from the unlisted PSTs? Thanks much in advance for your advice.
