Question about win32 exe format.

Is there a method or class/construct in MFC which can give me information
about an Win32 exe file? I've done *some* reading and have learned *some*
stuff, like determining if a file IS a Win32 exe, but I was wondering about
all the other stuff that you get when you right click on an exe and select
'properties' such as 'Description', 'Copyright', 'Comments' etc.

If nothing in MFC, can someone provide a link/article/resource where I might
learn such info?

The values you are referring to have nothing to do with knowing how to read the
executable. You can use the version functions. Take a look in the MSDN for the VERSIONINFO
resource type, then follow the link to "Version Information Functions". From there you
should be able to find enough references in the MSDN to keep you happy.

How do I format cells in Excel to make 175/5 read 175?

2 questions
Hi, I need help in finding where to post for windows 7. Kindly advise as to which newsgroup I should be addressing. Secondly, I was trying to uninstall a 3rd party program using "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel. It used to be called "Add/Remove Programs" in WinXP. I highlighted the program I wished to uninstall, and clicked "uninstall". That little progress circle that goes around and around drove me crazy and I waited for about 10 minutes for the OS to gather "configuration information" about the program to be uninstalled. ...

scanpst.exe error
My outlook.pst file is corrupt. I followed the Knowledge Base instructions, did a chkdsk, renamed the file. When I try running scanpst.exe on the renamed file, I get this error: An unexpected error prevented access to this file. Use ScanDisk to check the disk for errors, and then try using the Inbox Repair Tool again. The problem here is that I'm running Windows XP Professional and ScanDisk is not available. I also cannot copy or move the file. But I can rename it. Any suggestions? Thank you, Tim Sullivan Version of OL? size of pst? If you cannot copy ...

Conditional series... Conditional format
I have results from a two-sided 'game' with more than 5,000 record collected in 32 distinct runs of the game. Each record includes an X Y location of an event and reflects the results of a contact betwee the two sides in which one side or the other is the winner and th opposing side is the loser. There is a column that indicates whic side was the winner in each contact (reflected in a single record/row) With a scatter diagram using the X-Y columns as a series, I can see th location of the winner in all contacts. Also, I can easily segregat the results by side with a filter and cho...

Sorry but I have a question again...
I have Pub 2003 & Windows XP. I created the first from the 4 pages in Folded Card and went into Page Set Up - Properties - Finishing - Pages per Sheet and choosen 4. newbie question: read form properties from another class
Hi, I am sorry for this n00b question, but I'm stumped. I created a form application (using C#.NET Express). For now, it is a simple, singe form, that contains 1 button and 1 textbox. The button calls a method in another class. My question: how do I read the forms' textbox text from that class? My problem seems to be getting a proper reference to the form in my class. My background is VB6, where this was straightforward. I tried the following: -make the textbox public, -create a public property in the form, that returns the textbox text, -passing the form ob...

Newbish question re. Out of Office Assistant sequence
