"Save as" in IE programatically

When you view an image in IE you can right click and choose save as to save
the file to the local machine. I would like to "move" or copy that image
into a predefined directory. The thought is why download it again if it's
already on my computer. I would like to avoid the unnecessary "save as"
step. Any ideas how I could achieve this with active-x?
