Windows sharepoint services is not configured
We have SBS 2008 Premium 64bit. I did a reinstall of it and the first "installation issue" that came up was this: "Windows sharepoint services is not configured". I posted this in the SBS newsgroup and I haven't gotten an answer yet. I was wondering if anyone here could help me. Please advise and thanks.

During the install only the binaries will be installed. After that you need
to configure sharepoint by creating config & content DB's. If you have a
previous environment you can also migrate that to new WSS 3.0 environment.

Windows won't open due to pop-up blocker
Just putting CRM4 onto test and finding problem of pop-up blocker messages preventing windows from opening. This does not happen all the time. Pop-up blocker is off and CRM URL is added to the exceptions list. Tried turning blocker on and still get the problem. Client PC is XP SP2 using IE 7. Hi there, A customer of mine is asking for file-server & Exchange services that would be well served by SBS 2008. They currently use VNC quite regularly (to work from home, foreign work- related trips), and the impression I get is that an SBS domain would pretty much involve switching to Remote Web Workplace. Hi, I've been developing an application on windows 2000 (sp3) for the past few months. Turns out we'll have to support the app on windows xp too. I tried running the app on xp but have run into a problem. The text I'd like to display in my list control doesn't show up on XP. Basically, when an UpdateAllViews() is sent from the document, the list view's OnUpdate() function calls InsertItem() and SetItemText(....) to display the information. Every time I try to open a PDF file in windows mail it says I don't have a program associated with it to open it. It says to set a default program with it. Another solution which will hopefully help someone else, as I searched for this error and the only answers I could find were that it *must* be an anti-virus software problem, or to change a million settings... the solution to my own problem was a whole lot simpler.... Hello, I am creating a rounded window using the CreateRoundRectRgn and SetWindowRgn functions, and the results is fine. My problem is that I want to switch back and forth in between the normal window and the rounded window. So when I switch back, I reset the window region but with a new big enough rectangle region. I have to install a CRM Server and to save hardware, I wanted to install the system on the same machine as the Windows Sharpoint services install that we have. after the upgrade of mac OS X from 10.5.8 to 10.6.1, office 2008 x mac (word, excel and powerpoint) don't create/save/modify files stored in a windows server. if I try with other programs (not office) it works. if I create/save/modify in a local disk on the iMac and then I copy in te server share it works. solutions? Install CRM along side windows sharepoint services
I have to install a CRM Server and to save hardware, I wanted to install the system on the same machine as the Windows Sharpoint services install that we have. Can this be done, and what is needed, does anyone have any links to KB Articles on the install. This is not a problem. You will just need to install to a new website. cannont connect to online services for financial institution setup
i am trying to set up online services for a new institution. i've had schwab set up for years, and i am still able to update that account. however, when i try to set up a NEW ameritrade account, when trying to do the initial setup i receive an error message saying "money cannot complete a required online call at this time. please check your internet connection settings and try again." however, i can click internet updates or connect to schwab just fine. i even tried setting up a new schwab account, since i know that works on my existing account, and i get the same mes...

recently we installed windows 2008 std by using the ms select license key, after 2 weeks , system prompt to activate the license key. is it something wrong with the license key or we need to activate the key ? first time installed windows 2008.
