MS Money 2002 #9
I downloaded SP2 about one week ago. I have XP Pro. The installation went very well. Then I tried to access Money 2002. The system said that I needed an upgrade to IE. When I tried to access the upgrade site, the only thing that was available was upgrades to IE 5.5 and below. How can I get Money 2002 to work, short of uninstalling sp2? thanks, Art Have you tried reinstalling M2002? How to embed MS SQL Server Installation using VB.NET Setup project.
I have tried the trial version of Microsoft Dynamic POS and it is great specially when I saw that when you install the software, SQL Server installation is included with the setup program. I am wondering how to do the same when I am going to create an installation file of my program. I want the same functionality like embedding also the database so my user will not have to worry about attaching the database to the SQL Server using a management tool. Thank you very much for any info. ...

Help With Look Up Functions
Hello, I am working with a range of unsorted data which I would like to look up the first instance of "ON" and return the value in the adjacent column. Status Fuel Flow OFF 13,116 OFF 13,129 OFF 13,142 ON 13,154 ON 13,167 ON 13,180 ON 13,192 For example in this example I would like to pick out the fuel flow value on the first instance of ON, so it should return the value 13,154. MS webbrowser control
I'm using a C++ / VS.NET 2003 (unmanaged) dialog-based project. I'm attempting to insert the "Microsoft Web Browser" ActiveX control. When I did this is VS6, it would generate webbrowser.h and webbrowser.cpp wrapper classes which worked well and included all of the needed methods (e.g. Navigate2). If I do this in VS7.1, it generates explorer.h and explorer.cpp which contain a whole heap of enumerations and no methods at all!!! The wrapper class is completely useless. Can anyone explain this to me? Is there any way to make .NET generate a useful wrapper for this class??? ...

Looking For Business Portal Developer Training
Does anyone have suggestions on where a developer can find training on business portal for Dynamics GP? Not so much on how to install, configure, and use it, but how to develop and integrate one's own stuff with it. I have found a very handy integration guide (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/aa474991.aspx) but I was wondering if anyone offered hands on training on this sort of stuff? Secondly is it necessary to use Rational XDE for development, or is it optional but so useful that it would be crazy not to use it? Wes: Integrated Business Group in Orlando is offering Biz Port...

Office 2007
Hello, Our company has been using OWC components as front end to query SQL Server Analysis Services cubes. As there is no OWC in New 2007 office release I was wondering if it is possible to use full Excell that is customized to look like Pivot Table. We would build web page where excel spreadsheed would be embeded into page and default menus would be removed and just our custom menu would be available. Could you please confirm if this is possible to do? Any suggestions on how to start, what to read? I know that Microsoft wants users to use Excel services instead of owc, but we must (...

Comparing docs in MS Word
When I try to compare two versions of a document using MS Word, it has been crossing out entire paragraphs in RED and then re-writing it in Blue as if the whole thing was changed (although only one or two words were changed). I tried it many times and got the same result. Is there a way to make it work properly. I used Track Changes - Compare Documents. Thanks. Gettting divorced
After 15 yrs of marriage I'm getting divorced. My spouse is no longer willing to share her transaction data with me. I could start a new file, but I would prefer to keep my current file, which has 5 years of data in it. Since my spouse is not willing to give me the data to properly handle the divorce in MS Money, I have the following question What category should I use for the adjustments required to bring my spouse's 401K and stock options accounts to $0? I checked the FAQ, but there's no section on divorce and how to handle things in Money. Dick, any suggestions? As I go...
