Publisher on Mac OS X

When is Microsoft finally going to make a version of Publisher for Mac OS X?
I think it should be added in the next Office release!

I am a Mac Tech and I get tons of questions regarding Publisher files on
Mac! As of now there is no support from Microsoft on Mac.

If Microsoft will not bring the whole program to Mac then please create a
program that will let Mac users view the files & convert them into Word or
Pages.

Please, respond to this post to encourage Microsoft to finally resolve it's
Publisher issue in the Mac OS X environment!!!!!!!!

Marksware makes a Publisher to Indesign plug in. Publisher's export to pdf
function works pretty well.
From all that I have heard, a Mac version of Publisher is very unlikely.

When hell freezes over.

I think I should be paid large amounts of money for doing nothing.
Doesn't mean it'll happen.

Even if this had been suggested at the time of release of the last
Office:Mac, there would have been no way to mobilise a product team to
get it written for the next version.

Parallels and VMWare Fusion allow it just fine.

Change default location in Publisher 2007
My research on the web seems to indicate that for some inexplicable reason it is not possible to change the default location in Publisher 2007. This is really annoying as every time I try to open a document Publisher looks in 'My documents' and not the folder I use. I found the following information on the web but when I click on 'Tools' in the 'Open dialogue box' I do not get the option to 'add to my places': "You can only add the folder to 'my places' and cannot choose a default file location in Publisher 2007. List output to a x by 10 range
I have a list that x lines long. I want to transpose that list to another range (starting on cell M1) that is 10 columns wide and however many rows long. I know this is super simple. Does it have something to do with range resizing? No doubt you've already experimented with macro recorder, discovering the standard transpose command wont wrap within a range. office v. x updates 10.1.6 and or 10.1.9
I was trying to update my office x with the update 10.1.6 and it would allow me to start the update, but then when it was installing the visual basic libraries, it would stop and give me the error "error creating folder" "1008:9,-43 file not found". In addition, when I tried to use the 10.1.9 update, it said that I do not have any qualifying products on my computer. I know that I have office v. x installed, because update 10.1.6 recognized it. I think that this is a folder permission issue, but I do not know which folders I need to change. If at worst, I would like to get e...

There should be a downloadable Publisher file viewer like there i.
There are lots of viewers available for several of the Microsoft Office products. Why no have one that can view Microsoft Publisher files? One reason is Publisher files aren't practical to be used as e-mail attachments, files are huge, beyond many e-mail account capacities.
