I have a Publisher 2000 file I'm attempting to open in
what I believe is a Publisher 2002 version that came with
my Office XP suite. It will not open and I get a "cannot
open file" error message. What should I do to open the

If you have Word installed and it's the same version as Outlook (both 2003,
for example), you can do a mail merge between the two. This would allow you
to set up the text the way you want it to, and you can save the document for

Choose Page setup from the File drop down menu and set the
page size to suit your needs. Note that elements on the
page do not change. You will have to rearrange to suit.

I am trying to get an outlook client setup so that it
automatically opens offline without prompting the user.
Does anyone know if this is possible, if so how to do it.
In the properties of the e-mail account (Tools, Options,
Mail Setup, E-mail Accounts, View or Change existing e-
mail accounts) if this is an Exchange e-mail account,
highlight it and hit Change, then More Settings. Select
Manually Control Connection State, then select Work
Offline and Use Dialup Networking. This should give you
the desired effect.

forever and havn't found a hint yet.
I have multiple domains setup on my exchange server. Lets say abc.com,
def.com, and hij.com. We only send email with @abc.com but can receive
from any domain name. Recently we merged with another company and we
brought back their email to our server, lets say xyz.com. Now I
configured a new recipient on Exchange 2003, so I now have two
policies. The first policy has the three original domains in it with
@abc.com as the primary domain. In the second policy I have configured

Working in Word 2003, I put two spaces between a paragraph and the next
'heading 2'. This works fine until the 'heading 2' spills on to the
next page. There is then two spaces gap at the top of the page.
Is there a way to tell word to keep the heading at the top of the page
if it spills over? Don't want to put in a hard page break.
How are you creating the spacing? If you are pressing Enter twice, then don't.

I am trying to print a document in word that is color but it is only coming out in black and white. How can I change the color settings on my printer?
Word has no setting to print in color v. B/W -- that's a function of your
printer & its driver software. The settings are available in the Print
dialog in the Copies & Pages List, but exactly where the setting is located
depends to a great extent on what printer you have. Some printers also have
physical controls on the printer, itself, but that isn't common.

If you are using 2010, Page Design tab, Size, More pre-set page sizes. Letter
landscape is the first choice.
In all other Publisher versions landscape will be on the page setup screen found
in the File menu.

Several years ago, I built an access db to track my business
scheduling and accounts payable/receivable.
So this database is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME.
The file has grown to 140 MB.
Today I made a copy of the file and then edited my calendar table.
I removed all columns which had 2006 data (72 totals columns) - the
table had about 144 columns originally.
I then added 72 columns with 2008 headers. These columns are now

8 years ago I started my 403B and 401A retirement accounts with Fidelity
as a single account. It did not both me that the paper showed them as
two accounts and I should have fixed it sooner. Now that Fidelity is

I am very new to using web links in excel. A task I do very often is
open a list of different websites that are in various columns in an
excel spreadsheet. I am quite sure I am doing it the slowest way
possible, so I need some help please. Basically I have been clicking
on one link at a time. When I do this, the first website opens and
excel automatically minimizes, then I have to go re maximize excel and
then click the next web link and the same thing happens, etc... very

I have recently loaded windows 7, and since then I cannot print any graphics
from any publisher document, text and infills print but lines do not! I have
looked at the advance printer settings and the "Do not print any graphics"
box is not ticked.
