You're not attaching the picture - you're attaching a LINK to the picture.
...Publisher 2007 Print Preview problem
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
I use a custom template 8.5x44, fill it with text and pictures, but =
print preview show 5 pages, with the text and pictures centered over the =
5 pages, meaning that the first and last half pages are blank. That is, =
the text and pictures begin mid page, not at the top as my document has =
them. And the bottom of the fifth page is blank. What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to work on a newsletter, in a three column format that needs
hyphenation turned on, so the justified text looks better. However,
there is one word that it wants to hyphenate (the word is eScrip, a
company name), which should not be hyphenated.
I've seen older articles in this NG suggesting various work-arounds,
including turning hyphenation off for the whole story, changing the
font size, inserting carriage returns, and changing the spelling of the
word itself. However, none of this is acceptable.
Isn't there a way to select one word, and tell Publisher *not*...Messages deleted disappear..
My deleted messages are not sored in the Deleted folder
but simply disappear...How can I slove this?

In the Deleted Items folder, check View->Current View and make sure you are
not filtering them out under some condition (like "unread")

When I print my document to PDF directly from Publisher, my graphics do not
come out the way I expect - they are a bit distorted. The text is amazingly
clear at high zoom levels this way but my graphics do not look right.
When I save as .jpg at 300 DPI, why don't I get the same high resolution
that I see when I print to High Quality PDF? My graphics look perfect when
I save as .jpg but the text isn't as clear at high zooms.
Should I be saving as a different format (.tif, .png, .ps)? Can someone w/
experience in preparing documents for commercial print please help?

Not sure what you mean. When you insert a picture frame, you can resize it to any
dimension, the picture you select will be resized to fit the frame automatically.

computer but not registered. He realized he really has no use of this program
so he gave it to me. I was able to install it in my computer. Installation
was successful and I wanted to register it. Microsoft replied: "our record
shows that this version has already been activated." What can I do to go on

Search. It would always fail.

I just upgraded from Vista and Windows Mail to Windows 7 and Windows Live
Mail. In Windows Mail I was able to insert a gif picture with motion into
the body of my E-Mail. I can't seem to do that in Windows Live Mail for some
reason. They come in but don't move. When I receive one from someone else,

Download and install the following free PDF Creator.
With your new program installed...open your project
in Publisher and go to...File / Print.
On your Print screen...open the drop window and
select PrimoPDF as your printer.
Click...OK...now you will see the PrimoPDF screen
and you can browse to a save folder.

I have a long, formatted Word document containing many footnotes. If I have
created a main text box onto a Master page with certain margins plus a
smaller text box above the main text for the Headers to be added later, how
do I insert and/or import the Word file properly into the main text box? It
keeps losing the footnote text althought the footnote reference markers are
in the proper place of the text.
Publisher doesn't support footnotes. You will have to type them manually or try
copy/paste from Word.
Long documents are best done in Word.

Anyone used PDF995 to convert a Publisher newsletter from
..pub to .pdf format? I don't know either program and I know
I'm doing something stupid but I can't get from the xxxx.pub
to the xxxx.pdf format using the PDF995 free program.
I can open the xxxx.pub file in Publisher and it looks fine.
How do I get or what do I select to print to the PDF995

file is created.
