How does one view a document created in Publisher.
I have gotten a document (calendar) in .pub format. Word does not recognize
it. Is there a viewer? What's the link? I have Office 2000 with the

There is no viewer for Publisher files. Maybe you
could ask the sender to convert it to a .pdf file. Or
you could order the Trial version of Pub2003...

I have a quite large block of assembler code, 50 subroutines accessed
via just a couple of top level subs. I want to access these top level
subs from my VC7 project.
I have looked at the __asm inline assembler option but can't see how I
can author the subs properly. Should I be using MASM ?

I am distributing a spreadsheet to multiple users. The spreadsheet is
being used as a form for data entry.
The problem i am having is that when it is being printed, the users
are getting varying page layouts where the page breaks have changed,
due the changes to the length of the document growing from the free
text they are entering. The page breaks that excel chooses don't seem
to be spaced well, leading to one or two of the pages being very short
(i.e., leaving a lot of free white space), whereas the other pages are
taking up the entire page.
Is there a particular page layout selection...MRP not creating planned orders in version 10.0
I'm testing version 10.0 on a test system and using a copy of my live
database. Version 8.0 creates a planned PO when QTY Available falls below
Order Point Qty. It's not working in 10.0. I've checked all my settings
from 8.0 to 10.0 and they all look the same.
Is there a setting I'm missing?

I publish a newsletter. Ads are sometimes submitted as .pdfs. I have been
using Publisher 2003, which necessitates converting the .pdfs to .jpegs. Will
Publisher 2007 import the .pdfs as is?

For import into Pub 2007...converting .pdfs to an
image format is still the best option.

Publisher. After reading the suggestions via further postings, I wish
Microsoft would explain why they chose to remove the 3rd option for a half
fold card from its' more recent edition. It was SO much easier and handier

I am using Entourage 2004 version 11.4.0 on a Macbook with OSX version
10.5.8. I have several projects set up in the Project Center and email
from some contacts are automatically made part of the different
projects. Up until last week, all of my emails were showing up in the
regular Mail Inbox, with the project marked by the colored dot in the
Projects column. Now, however, some emails show up in the Project
Center mail window, but not in the regular Inbox view. It has caused
me to miss a few emails and is getting frustrating. Has anyone else

Hi, I have a postcard that I made in MS Publisher that is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 in
size. Obviously I can't use a .23 cent stamp on this item. I was interested
in modifying my larger postercard and reducing it to a 4 x 6 template size so
I can save on postal expenses. I couldn't find a blank template! I've
purchased card stock and am ready to figure out a way to convert the larger
size to (4) 4x6 smaller postcards printed on a full sheet 8 1/2 x 11. I'll
then have them cut to size. So.. is there a easy to use template out there

I don't know if Riso handles printing any different than other printers. In page
setup, set your printer, then the page setup.

While working on a saved copy of a newsletter in Publisher 2003 a message came
up asking what I wanted to do about: "Microsoft was trying to invade to give a
message". The message was from Norton Internet Security ,hich stated to I
should create a firewall (recommended) so that's what I pushed. Then
Publisher closed down and asked if I wanted to send an error report. After
Publisher closed, I can open up Publisher and any other document but not the
file I was working on. Each time I try to open the file it automatically

This one has me baffled. I think it might have to do with the AVG
antivirus software I recently installed, with which I am generally
perfectly happy. But it could be something else.
Outlook 2000 is set up to automatically check mail on my ISP's POP3
server every x minutes. It is also set up to pass outgoing message to
the SMTP server as soon as they are completed.
This works fine most of the time. However, occasionally (a couple of
times a week), I will notice I haven't gotten any mail at all for a few

I have two problems (bugs perhaps) that I need o find a way to work around
in Excel 2007. They both concern the category (x) axis (text) labels in line
charts. I normally shy away from line charts entirely but, in the given
instance I need to use them.
First question: when you first create the line chart, and when you set the
labels for the category axis, Excel automatically rotates the labels to get
them to fit as well as possible. However, if you go in to the Format Axis>
Alignment>Custom Angle box and enter a value, I can find no way of reenabling

is it possible to print a 1 month calendar on 2 page spread, the way that
Calendars are simply tables. The pre-designed calendars are easy to resize.
Create two Publisher documents, create the calendar the regular way in the first
publication, copy/paste to the second publication and resize. Make note of the
color scheme, it will change when you paste.
