Unknown object in the Project Explorer in VBE
I am working in VBE and see in the top left corner the Project
Explorer window, where the objects (worksheets) or my active workbook
is displayed. In this window, the worksheet objects are shown as icons
that have grids so they look like miniatures spreadsheets. In
contrast, the ThisWorkbook object has an XL icon. Now I find there
are two additional objects with the XL icon, and these two are
duplicates of the "normal" worksheets. Does anybody know what could
have caused these duplicates to suddenly appear? I would like to be
able to remove them.

The user have a embedded Excel Spreadsheet in Word that they right Click and
Open in execl application. I have a custom addin that gets called for Excel
on close event and ask the user to save the document.
My issue is when the Excel Spreadsheet is embedded in word and the user
right click on the embedded Spreadsheet and open in Excel, I do no want the
Close event from my custom addin to ask the user to save the document.
Is there a property or API I can use to detect if the Spreadsheet in Excel
opened from another Office application like Word. I have already tried

I have an Excel97 spreadsheet containing a number of vba objects
(command buttons, msgbox, etc.) with the VISIBLE property set to
FALSE. These are normally programmed to appear in response to another
event on the worksheet, and become invisible when clicked. They do
this OK as programmed. However (newbie problem), when I first open
the workbook these objects are visible and I have to click them to
hide them. How do I go about initializing these objects so that they
are hidden from the start? The "visible=false" property doesn't seem
to be enough.

setting up security, I ran into an issue trying to go to the
requisition page. It states: System.InvalidCastException: Unable to

In my previous version of Excel I could click on a row and then "Insert copied cells" anywhere on the sheet (as a new row). My problem is that with this version (2003 professional), when I try and re-insert the row, all the formulas have been converted to values. How do I switch back to inserting the row with formulas

Inserting a row seems to work the same in Excel 2003 as in earlier versions,
but maybe if you lay out the _precise_ steps to duplicate the problem

When I insert a DateTime value to a database, and read it back again, it
appears that some of the data I wrote is missing.
For example, if I insert a DateTime, with a time portion of 16:24:12.421
(that is, 4:24pm and 12.421 seconds), when I read it back I get 4:24pm and

I have a Macro that hides and copies visible cells to worksheet 3, but, I
have a certain row (the heading description for the next page) that needs to
wait till the next page break befor copying so that I don't have to manually
adjust them. Moving them manually takes 25 minutes 2-3 times a day, if there
is a way it would really save me.

Is it possible to add text boxes to my margin guides automatically
with existing pages and to new pages as they are added?
The option is in the Insert, Page. Create one text box on each page.
I don't think you can automatically create a text box on an existing page. You
can copy the empty box and paste as you go along. Or double-click the text box
icon and create many boxes at once.

Hi, The documents where I work are all created from templates. The header of the templates include a logo, line and text. When I try to print just selected pages from the document, i.e. pages 19-21, the logo and line do not print. If I print the entire document everything prints. The documents based on these templates almost always have section breaks. <br><br>I have been reading the other posts with similar problems. All my preferences are set correctly. I have tried anchoring the logo to the text in ...use a class object for this?
