I'm trying to implement a tax and discounts table which can allow line =
item discounts and entire order discounts. I'm not using any software =
in particular, just want to know how it's currently done or if it's even =
possible. Implementing the discounts per line item and entire order was =
easy. How to determine the tax affected is the hard part. I'll keep my =
example simple:

Line # Price Tax Rate Sub Total Discounts Sub Total after =
Discounts=20
      1 $5.00 8.25% $5.41 1 $4.33=20
      2 $5.00 0.00% $5.00 1 $4.00=20
      3 $10.00 7.25% $10.73 2 $8.58=20
          Total: $21.14 Total: $16.91=20

As you can see, the line item discounts are easily done and the taxes =
deducted accordingly. Now, however, if I want to apply a $5 discount to =
the entire order, how do I take into account the taxes to deduct if the =
tax rate is different for each line? Is this even possible?

Thanks in advance,
Tony

Emailing Publisher documents with multiple pages....
I'm using Publisher 2003 for our department newsletter. Most of our agents do not have Publisher so I need to either email the newsletter as the body of the email or as an attachment they can open. Combining multiple documents in Word 2007 (track changes) 03-04-10
I have used tracked changes before and can compare two documents (original and 2nd document). Can anyone tell me how to compare multiple documents? I can only get the original and one document but not multiple documents. Thanks! Do you mean when the docs open 3 files side-by-side to compare? I didn't see where you can do that, try creating a folder with the author name, since it searches by author. Tax on Returns From Project Entry
Hello, I am working with the Returns From Project Entry form, and am a bit perplexed as to why taxes work the way they do. Since each line has a Site ID associated with it, I would expect that the tax would be based upon the Purchases tax schedule for this Site. However, the tax seems to be based upon the header level Tax Schedule ID, which defaults from my company's main purchase tax schedule. Is this behavior intended, and if so, what was the thinking behind having the taxes come from my company's purchase tax schedule rather than the site ID's purchase tax ...

Excel Workbook with Multiple worksheets

Medical Transactions not showing on tax report
What is the best way to setup a medical account so it shows on the tax report usinf Money06 Deluxe? I currently transfer the transaction to the specificate medical account from my checking when making a payment using the transfer option under categories. When running the tax report, it only recognizes what is listed under the healthcare category, and doesn't recognize transfers. I don't want to have to manually key in to two seperate accounts everytime I pay a medical bill. Any suggestions? Thanks Chris If I understand what you're doing I don't believe there is a solutio...

Multiple browser windows opening each time I click on an element.
Does anyone know how to set the CRM window such that it does not launch in a new browser window? You can achieve this result by browsing directly to the loader.aspx page on your server. However, this will result in the IE menus to remain which can be confusing to the user. You can also set this at the application level by changing the "AppMode" setting in the web.config. -- Matt Parks MVP - Microsoft CRM "Bill@fusionsoft.co.uk" <Billfusionsoftcouk@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CA0CA71E-07A3-4D89-B930-0C4AEB961601@microsoft.com... Do new messages always get sent through that second account? -- Jeff Stephenson Outlook Development This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights &quo...

Why does Excel create multiple copies of the same file?
I have been using an Excel file called Ticklers for a long time. When I open it now it opens three files called Ticklers:1, Ticklers:2 and Ticklers:3. I have never made these extra files. Why is it happening? This is the same file, just different windows, like three tv screens showing the same reality from different angles. Close two of them using the inner X up rignt to get rid of them. HTH. Non discountable items
Is there a way to discount a non discountable item as the POS if you have proper permissions without modifying the item? I would like for a manager to be able to override a non discountable item at the point of sale. Eric, If an item is tagged as non discountable on the item card, then no one can discount the item, regardless of security levels. With that said - you can manipulate your security levels and stack them so that the average cashier, asst manager, etc can not change an item price, but anyone above them can. In addition to this, I think you should also start using your Re...
