Linking RMS to CRM ?

We run Microsoft CRM, is there an inexpensive way to link RMS with CRM ?

We would also like to link our back office accounts (Sage line 50) with Rms
is this possible or am I better of switching to another accounting program
such as small business Financials. (Anyone know when this will be available
in the uk ?)

Thank you for your help.

Paul,

There are a couple of companies that mention RMS and CRM in the same =
breath on the Solution Finder, but I don't know if they have anything. =
http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/solutionfinder.mspx

There was a hint that there _may_ be something in the 3.0 version in Q1 =
'08, but don't hold your breath.

Thanks Jeff,
I don't think I can hold my breathe that long anyway ! =20

Could it be done via a "middle man" accounting program that both syncs =
with RMS and CRM (Isn't it about time all these programs store the =
customer records in one database usable by all programs wanting customer =
info)?.

Is there any reading material/information on the upcoming 2 version ?

Paul,

It _might_ be possible. Check with those vendors in the Solution Finder =
as they are all also mentioning the various MS accounting programs in =
the same breath too. Its the updating of the customer's info between =
programs that is the problem. =20

It will be interesting to see how MSPOS 2007, Office Accounting 2007 =
(new name for Small Business Accounting 2006) and Outlook Small Business =
Manager 2007 work together coming in Q1 07. Supposedly all three are =
integrated. Updates are pushed to each.

If that works, we will see the same integration of RMS in 3.0

Nothing on 2.0 yet. Probably in Dec. For whatever reason, this =
division of MS is very secretive about updates.

Linking many cells
I wish to link many cells in (e.g. A1:40) in sheet 1 to A1:A40 in sheet 2 without doing it one by one so that whaever I type in A1 sheet 1 appears in A1 sheet 2. Please any idea? dk As long as your 'from' and 'to' blocks are structured identically (eg 1 column of forty rows in your example), it's straightforward. Click in the first 'to' cell, Sheet1!A1. Type the '=' sign, then click in the first 'from' cell, Sheet2!A1, then hit enter. Your formula in Sheet!A1 should read =Sheet2!A1 (look for it in the formula bar). Grab the fill handle (th...

#Deleted being displayed in a linked table
I have linked to a mainframe DB2 table and when I try to open the table or run a query against it, the only thing that display is "#Deleted" in every cell. I know there is data in the table as I can query using Excel and get the correct results. Using the same simple query in Access, I retrieve the correct number of rows but they all contain the same "#Deleted" message in each cell. I have links to other DB2 tables on this mainframe and the results are fine. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks. Have you tried relinking the table? I had the same thing happen to me o...

paste linked cells show "0"

Unfortunately, when the original cell is empty, the value of the "paste linked" cell shows as "0". (not just blank like the original) Is there a way to keep the "paste linked" cell showing "0"? If not, how would I go about using VBA to systematically go through the above described range and delete those zeros?
