adding a new item to existing matrix in rms 2.0
how come when you add an item to an existhing matrix non of the information
is being forward from the main matrix (ex. supplier, price, cost, reorder #,
barcode format, etc.) even the size, color, and 3rd dimention that you
entered to the new item is not being fowarded. what is going on with 2.0
I think the Matrix is still is a little buggy.. Get all hotfixed up and see
if the helps. There have been 3 for 2.0 hotfixes already.

Use the advanced find, Look for 'Notes'/ 'Activity', define your search
Regarding(Case) --> Case: Contains data.
Result returned: all notes/ activity created in cases.
If no criteria set but click on Find directly, every notes/activity created
in MSCRM returned.

a customer is having an issue. he scans an item in the pos screen and all
details show up. but when he tries to look for it later he cant find it. hes
tried it in manager too. he would usse name, or barcode, or anything and
still nothing. do we know what the problem is?
If the item is set as inactive (in the item properties) it will not show up
in the Find screen, but will scan in at the POS. You can turn off the find
option, but I think it is easier to use one of the SOM reports to find the
item, such as the price report. The item will show up in any report that

I need to allow sent faxes to be seen by all users. I have Windows XP and
Windows 7 64bit client machines. Currently they can only see their sent
faxes. In SBS 2003 they were able to see all sent faxes.
Could you create an Outlook rule based on the fax sent acknowledgement that
copied the fax to a public folder?

created in say Access 2002? In the help there are only topics about
the quick access toolbar. I want to modify the action of a button, but
right clicking and choosing customize, like used to be so easy (once
you get used to it), is no longer possible. Does that mean no more
custom toolbars and no backward compatibilty here?

CRM 4.0. I get a error "mail_merge_64494.doc is a mail merge

- I open a quote
- click on menu bar button "Print Quote for Customer"
- select organization mail merge, Quote for customer, and OK
- when asked if I want to open or save, I select open
- I pick yes, when it asks if it can put data on my document

There is not a supported way to do this on the standard forms themselves. The
closest supported method wuld be to add a new Tab on the left of the page via
