Columns Compare and Row Insertion Alignment #2
I have trying to find a macro routine that will compare two columns in a sheet and perform row insertions on the left or right column based on compare being lower or higher. the compare should work on text as well as numbers.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

I have a column of address numbers that needs to combine with street names so
that I have a combined column of a complete address. Example - What I have
in column A is "24513" and in column B I have "Main Street". So I need to
combine all of column A with all of column B so that all the addresses appear
in one column as "24513 Main Street"

I have a column chart. Excel has automatically inserted consecutive numbers
underneath the columns. I want to replace these with text, unique labels
for each column. I thought this would be an ultra-simple, ultra-intuitive
task, but I can't find anywhere to do it in Excel, and I can't find anything
on the web. How do I replace Excel's default numbers with text?

Either columns B through BK are hidden (most likely), or the Window is frozen
and you've scrolled way over to the right, bringing column BL next to A.
Assuming they're just hidden,
Click on the 2 that identifies row 2 so that the entire row is selected, then
On the [HOME] tab, in the CELLS group, pull down the "Format" list and
choose Hide and Unhide and click the UNHIDE COLUMNS option.

the columns, and Column A should be the column

- Select your target area
- Goto 'Edit - Paste Special' and choose 'Trans...copying columns #2

the third column. Is there a formula that does this in one step?

I have approx. 30 columns but I only want to print non-
adjacent ones for example. Column B, E-G, K and P.
I have tried setting print area but that will give me one
column on one page.
Can this be done on the same page??

Try hiding the columns that you don't want to print.

It appears that there is a 1/2 pt border between columns.
Is that correct?
If I merge 3 standard 8.43 pt width cells (A1:C1) and wrap
text, the text wrap appears to be the same as if it were
one cell with a column width 26.29 instead of 25.29.
If I go to Format>Cells>Border the line style is
represented visually, but in Word the default line style
for a table border is 1/2 pt.
Also, is I use a cell border that is thicker than default,
does that reduce the space available in the cell or
increase the spacing between cells?

I am working on a program that would import 400 columns of data into
Microsoft Excel. The data is a text file in comma/tab delimited
format. Excel has an allowable range of at most 256 columns. I was

exactly the same chart type using another set of data, I
cannot select more than 7 data values. Upon selecting
data value number 8 the previous 7 datapoints are erased.

The variable is the starting date of the Monthly Performance as shown

What I'm looking for is a way that automatically finds the starting

I'm trying to chart a series that is comprised of 5 - 3
number groups. I can chart the first group, but when I
try to add the next series, it stacks them onto the
existing columns rather than make 3 new ones.
The data looks like this (simplified):
A1 A2 A3 B1 B2 B3
1-10 .01 .03 .58 .023 .025 .023
11-15 .012 .025 .025 .024 .588 .280
16-20 .012 .255 .158 .024 .254 .241
I get a nice chart with A1-A3...but can't add B1-B3 next
