Crystal report wizard not available in excel
I've loaded Crystal Report 8.5 on my laptop and I'm trying
to create a report out of a current Excel Spreadsheet, but
the Crystal Report Wizard is not available for use. Any
ideas on how I can fix this within Excel will be

We are trying to learn the report design methodology in MSCRM 3.0.
I am using the supplied VPC image of MS CRM 3.0 with the Adventure Works
data, which has the SQL SRS already installed on it.
I have tried to install Visual Studio both into the image and onto the

provide sales versus cost of goods figures similar
to what is available in an "X" or "Z" report. I can
do my own margin calculations with the final figures
if that would otherwise overcomplicate the process.
My additional desire is to be able to query that report

I am new to Access and have been trying to get the month name show up in the
title of a report. I am using a form for the input of the [Month] and [Year]
as numbers. Then use the form control button to execute a report. This
works great. I then would like to use the input from the form [Month] to put
the name of the month in the title of the report. I put in a text box and
can get it to display the number of the month (ex. 5) but not the name of the
month name (Ex. May). I do not know how to format it to mmmm. I tried an

I have this issue on several of our agents machines, for some reason when
Internet Explorer 8 is installed it still reports being IE6 to a website when
browsing. The result of this is that some sites will not display properly
(trying to display an IE6 optimized page even though we're running IE8) and
some will not allow it to run at all giving a message that it requires IE7 or
later. Platform for at least 3 of the machines is Windows XP sp3.

Can I just change the report server URL registry key on the CRM server to

I have a date form. It has 2 text boxes that pass starting and ending dates
to a query to pull appts from that time period. If the report is left open
and the dates change in the date from, I have to manually refresh the report.

system. Everything seems to work with the exception of changing a data
source and creating a subscription (big problem). I'm running server
2003 with SQL server 2000, CRM 1.2. SQL Report Services runs fine
until I install CRM on the same system. I'm guessing it has to do with
both CRM and SRS running in the same web application; but I'm just
guessing on that.

I'm having trouble with CRM connector for SQL Server 2005 reporting
services. I installed this connector with no problems, but when I try to
acces reports from CRM Web page It says that Connector is not installed. I
thought that maybe for Windows server 2008 this might be a firewall issue,
but I've already disable from both servers (I have SQL Server and Reporting
Services in one server, and CRM on another). I don't know what could be the
