FRx errors with emailing reports
A customer is receiving error messages when emailing FRx reports - they
don't seem to affect anything, the reports are sent and received via email
and FRx doesn't close but with every report that they send, they get the same
message. "Drill Down Viewer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience." DrillDown Viewer closes, FRx remains open.
We have checked all of the settings to enable email, everything seems to
be OK and the reports do get sent, just an annoyance having the message pop
up every time. Has anyone seen this before...Missing email #3
For several months now, I have been having a problem with
not receiving all of my email. Many, many times, I have
learned that someone sent me an email, yet I never received
it. Also, emails I send are sometimes not received.
I have a small LAN and WLAN and my husband, who sits three
feet away, always seems to get his email. I have taken to
having him copied on anything important and he always seems
to get his copy, but I frequently don't get mine.
I have tried eliminating every possible cause I could think
of, including the following:

Assuming you mean Contacts, they are part of the data file, which assumming
a unicode format has a theoretical unlimited file size.
In any case I assume you backup, otherwise your Q has no basis

I have an SBS 2003 R2 server and the limit for sending and receiving email
is set at the default level of 10,240KB. I have noticed that some users
that do not have a custom limit set have, for example, emails from 11MB to
16MB in their accounts. Is there another place I need to adjust the global
limits for email?

This is a classic but I really neded help as I am new to E2K3.
I completed the installation of Exchange 2003 and joined an existing
Exchange 5.5 site. I installed an Intenet SMTP connector on E2K3 not
realising that it woud also update the existing 5.5 environment. This would
the mean that emails sen from the site would reroute through the E2K3 server.
There was a report that emails have not been flowing for sometime. After
investigating and realsing that the installed connector to the new E2K3
server was reourting all these emails. I looked on the queues in the E2K3
server and eac...Categorized emails vanish after applying new category to 300 uncategorized email
System info: Outlook 2002 running on XP
I had about 3000 emails in my inbox:
-about 2500 of these emails had categories applied
to them (no more than one category applied per email,
and there were about 30 or so categories)
-500 had no categories applied (none)
I selected ~300 of the 500 uncategorized emails in order
to apply one category to them. I noticed when the
category box was displayed, all categories in the list of
the apply category dialog were selected/grayed which
usually means you have selected items that have one or
more of those categories already ap...Capturing outgoing email
I need to be able to capture all outgoing email being sent through our
Exchange 5.5 server into a Outlook useable format. I thought about ExMerge
but that is just a snapshot and would not prevent a user from sending the
email and then deleting it from the Sent Items folder. Using the logging
functions don't keep email in an 'Outlook' format, email text and any
attachments, that could easily be opened later.
If this is not a function in Exchange 5.5; is there an addon app or is it a
function found in Exchange 2000 or 2003?

Is there a way to add metadata from a table to an outgoing email? Such as a

...Stop outgoing email from 1 user
I am running Exchange 2003 am wondering if I can stop/cancel outgoing email
for one user. I have restricted users to a send size of 2MB. They can send to
10 receipiants. But I have seen users send email with video attachments to 10
people which totals an upload to the internet of 20 MB which is slowing down
the download bandwidth for all users on the internet.
I monitor the bandwidth and can see who is causing the problem, so I would
like to cancel their email upload. Is this possible?

...how can I insert text file's text into my email in outlook 2007
I used to use outlook express. There is a lovely function to insert text
file's text into my currently writing email. How can I do that in my outlook
Time before, I first create a text file, say 'payment method.txt', then type
in all my standard payment method information to my customer. When I was
replying an email with my standard text, I simply use the "insert - text
file" function, instead of openning the 'payment method.txt', copy and paste
to my email.
Can I do that similar in outlook 2007 ? Thank you very much

I tried to email a 50MB+ audio file with Gmail via Entourage for Mac
2008, not realizing the size limitations. Entourage tries to send it,
only to bounce up against the limitation, and then kicks back an
error. Then, a few minutes later, it tries again -- and the same thing
happens. I want to find this unsent email to delete it and stop the
madness, but am having no luck. Any ideas?

My friend is about to change ISP and get a new email address. He doesn't use
webmail only Outlook. He has many folders containing emails he wants to
keep, and also all his contacts. Can someone please tell me, if he changes
email address will all the folder contents and contact details remain in
Outlook? Are they on his hardrive or not? Thanks!
Outlook data is stored locally. If he uses the same data file all his
information will be there.

I have a user who accidentally sent a message to a fax number from Outlook.
Now he gets a NDR
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a
specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails,
contact your system administrator.
I have looked everywhere to eliminate the message so he will stop getting
the NDR but can’t find it. I have Exchange 2003 with an Exchange 5.5 as a
connector to the internet. Can someone shed some light on this?
