Sync mail files

I have a small network of 3 computers. Can I syncronize the Outlook.pst
file so that any of the 3 machines will have access to all of the mail
folders?

Any clues will be welcomed.

Mailing Groups of persons in CRM
I would like to make account's member of groups, or make contact's members of groups. In that case I can would like to send e-mails to groups instead of mailing to account's or contact's. How can I Arrange that? Peter, CRM does not have a "contact group" feature as you will find in ACT! or other SFA products. But, you can simulate this functionality with a custom field. (The only drawback is that each salesperson can't create their own.) But this works fairly well: Create a picklist, let's call it "Group". Add the values you want. (Of cour...

E-mail not delivered, Event ID 2028
We have an issue with mail from outside not being delivered to valid users in our environment, and when this happens we see an Event ID 2028 in the Application log of our back end mail server. We run Ex2K3 SP1. This came to our attention when our Payroll Supervisor complained that she is not receiving automatically generated confirmation e-mails from our outside payroll service. We use a mail gateway appliance to receive all mail from the internet that also filters SPAM and runs virus checking software. We have found records in the log of the appliance that shows these e-mails addr...

Unable to delete "sent" mail from folder
I am running Outlook 2000. Currently my Sent mail folder is approx. 58 meg. I am unable to delete or archive "sent" messages from as far back as October 2001. I get the message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error". This only happens in this folder. I suspect it may relate to relocating my .pst files from the server to my local folder "c:/docs&settings/myusername/local settings/application data/microsoft/outlook". Or it could relate to migrating from Outlook 98 to Outlook 2000 (which occured before I moved the .pst file). Any thoughts?...

Exporting Outlook mail to another machine to synch email
Outlook 2003 Assume ComputerOne and ComputerTwo use the identical mail server. I want to synch the email on both machines. Say I delete all the email on ComputerTwo. I export Outlook mail from ComputerOne and import it into Computer2. After the import, ComputerTwo email should be in synch with ComputerOne. However, when ComputerTwo goes to the mail server, it downloads duplicates of what is already there. Outlook does not seem to recognize that it already has a given email from the mail server. Is there a way to prevent duplicates from being downloaded? Thanks Don't use export ...

outbound e-mail goes to outbox first
We have just had one of our computers serviced to 'close' a door that was open and loading us up with viruses. After bringing the cpu back and reconnecting, we went to e-mail and everything I send out goes to the outbox first and then I have to 'send/receive' from the outbox which is time consuming and annoying. Temporary save files and their accesibility
Hello, We recently altered an Excel workbook and have subsequently saved it, we have since found that ideally we would take step back in time and not make the changes we have. I have looked around the discussion topics only to be disappointed by some of the replies stating that what I’m asking is impossible. But here goes anyway: It is my understanding that when Excel saves it has a randomly named temporary file that it saves to, upon successful save the file is renamed to that of the file you are working on and the previously saved file is deleted. With that in mind surely there i...

bad file management
Ok, I may be missing something, or I may just be terrible at managing and upkeeping my files. Currently using Money Plus Home and Biz 2008, previously used 2006. I've never had a good standardized file management system or backup system/naming convention. Long story short, after changing computers, upgrading software, and moving to another country where I tried to start a new file with the local currency, I have all these various files and somehow am missing 3 months of 2007 data. I'm confused with all these files and wish there were some sort of a way I could merge th...

GP and CRM servers
I am currently running three different servers. One server (Windows server 2003) is running Dynamics GP 10. This server also acts as my terminal services license server. Access to this server is via remote desktop and server access is via “Users and groups” settings (not Active Directory). My second server (Windows server 2003) is running CRM 4.0 and active directory. My third server (Windows Server 2008) will eventually be a SharePoint (MOSS 2007) server. I am in an academic environment and my three servers are running on top of VMware 2.5 ESX on IBM Blade hardware. I have no ...

Excel doc saved as an HTML file
Hi, Sorry - this is a repost from microsoft.public.excel.programming. I posted there but maybe that was the wrong group for this question. Bottom line on top: I created an Excel file and saved it as HTML - and that file had a hidden worksheet. Upon reopening the file - I can no longer find the hidden worksheet. More detail: I am in the process of creating a dashboard for our group that is Excel based, but is saved as an HMTL file for ease of everyone viewing. In this early stage of development - I created just 3 tabs of reports and 1 tab of calculations. All the data is external, so...

E-mail Psuedo-names

Remove lines from text file prior to importing in Excel
I've scoured the usual sources, but haven't found any existing code that will accomplish what I need, so here's my situation. I've got a large text file from my company's mainframe. It's around 120,000 lines, with each record from a particular database taking up several lines (generally 8 to 16). Of those lines, only 4 of them are needed for the output file I need to produce. Since there is an import limit on Excel 2003, I'd like to remove the extraneous lines prior to the actual opening of the file in Excel. It should be pretty easy to isolate which l...
