Script to monitor email messages

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me with my problem. I was wondering if it's possible
to write a macro script that will monitor incoming emails and send info to an
Access database? To make it more clearer, here's the scenario: I need to
monitor emails wich have the word "Handovers" from specific groups and i'd
like the macro script to put a "Yes" on one of the fields in an Access
database. Is this even possible or do i have to ask someone who's more an
expert on Access? Please, i hope someone out there can help me.

email #53
how do i change my outlook 2003 so when i read an email it does not automatically delete? thanks Your previously read messages are probably just hidden, not gone. Check View | Current View -- is it set to "Unread messages"? If so, that explains the problem -- when you reply to a message, it becomes "read" and so it disappears when an "unread messages" view is set. Change the view back to Messages and your hidden messages should reappear. Also, make sure you're not sorting your Inbox on the Icon column, which can also appear to hide messages. -- Jocely...

Scripting the Great Plains installation
This topic originally started when I went looking for a way to script the installation of Great Plains v8. There is quite a bit of redundant data entry during the installation process, and I was looking for a way to automate the install. Seeing how difficult it is to script application installation is my normal precursor to rollout using Microsoft Systems Management Server. I took a look at the install files on the Great Plains 8 CD, and noticed there was an InstallShield Setup.exe. Executing the file for installation fails however, with the warning “Please use CDSetup.exe to launch the...

Closely held secrets about junk email folder
All, Within my company, we occassionally send HTML formatted emails that end up in user's junk email folders and we have no idea why. In one instance it was a message that contained a large table structure in the body of the message, but once we preceeded the table with an empty <p> tag, it succeeded in going to the intended recipients. So in this case, it really wasn't the fact that we were targetting too many individuals, or that certain words were found in the message, it was just a silly design thing (apparently) that had caused the problem. It has dawned on me that it woul...

"Your message....was read"
I've got a user who claims that every time she sends a message to a particular group of people (about 20), she always gets a read receipt email from somebody it wasn't sent to. I've checked all the recipients mailboxes and i can't find any rules or delegate access that would account for this. I tracked the message on the Exchange server (2000/SP3) and the only thing it shows is that she definitely sent the message and the unintended recipient definitely received it. Based on the tracking info it looks like she intended to send him the message, but looking at the email direct...
