Possible to send email directly to a folder?
I know I've seen this done but I cannot remember how to send email to a folder by using its address in the CC: block.... When sending email, how can I also include the "address" of an OL folder in one of my open PSTso it automatically receives a copy of the email (much like Sent Items)? How about to my OL folders in my Exchange server? I have some templates filled with about 90% of what I have to send on a recurring basis, and preconfiguring the folder where I copy these (ffor later reference) would save me some work. I can swear I did this before but cannot find it now. TI...

Public folder issue, "messaging interface has returned an unknown error"
I'm running a SBS2003 domain and just added a public folder and a customized form for entry into the public folder. All of our clients (all XP Pro, Outlook 2003 with all updates) can get to that folder and use the form without any difficulty except for one. On one computer I get the classic "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook." error message. I have tried a repair install, no change. I have tried making a new profile, no change. I have tried adding / removing his PST file (currently he's not even using a pst file...

Too many different cell formats #6
I am running into the error message: Too many different cell formats Is there a solution to lowering the number of formats I am using? Just trying to change them to make some consistent gives me the same error message. I tried running the search on the forums on my topic but they have been disabled for a Microsoft upgrade. Thanks! One idea - Rob Bovey's excellent Utilities add-in will list all the formats in use in your workbook, allowing you to manually delete what isn't being used. You can also see the source code for ...

I need help restoring Public Folders
Hi I've been having issues getting Public Folder replication going between 2 Exchange 2003 servers. Prior to doing any work I performed a Backup using Veritas Backup Exec and this completed and verified correctly. I screwed things up and managed to delete some of the public folders on my original server. I'm not 100% sure what I did but it is a mess and the only backup I have is the Exchange backup I created before doing any work. The public folders contain a number of Contact Lists and a very important Event Calendar. I have restored the public folders but when the restore c...

Help with Synchronizing a user folder with a Public Folder
Hi: Hoping that someone can offer a suggestion on this one. I'd like to be able to synchronize an email folder in a particular users' Outlook account with a public folder. The idea is to have email conversation threads in a particular folder (just one folder) visible to others in the group via the public folders. Ideally, it would be great if changes to the public folder are instantly mirrored in the users folder - but that requirement is not critical, the core requirement is to have the public folder mirror the user's folder (in real time). I know that I could accomplis...

AutoFilter #6
Thanks for the help. I am using Excel XP. I have a list of items that come from an Oracle Database. They are vehicle numbers that begin with a 0. (028,034,039,056, etc) I have an autofilter and want to filter out numbers >= 028 and <= 039. I always get an empty set returned to me. I assume this is because these are text items rather than numbers. Is there a way to accomplish this filter with text? Hmmm, not really sure if this is what you mean but have you tried puting a ' infront of the number, it denotes it as text. (It is under the " key) >-----Original Messag...

New Folder
Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do I open a new folder to organize my documents? The document list in Word2008 for Mac is not like Word I've used before. Click on the blue square next to the field in which you enter the document name, with the tiny triangle that is pointing down, and the dialogue will ...
