Outlook - Application Error - PLEASE HELP

Errors come from two different machines. Symptoms are same; Outlook closes on
them instantly. It doesn't occur all the time but periodically it'll happen.
Outlook 2007 has two addins. 1) MSCRMAddin, 2) PST Backup

Has anyone experienced something like this? All help is needed. Thanks in
advance.

You may want to update your NIC driver, one of the bits of information I
found on the first error is that if it's tied to catergory (101), it could be
a NIC issue. The poster had resolved their issue by either updating the NIC
driver or replacing the NIC altogether.

Another suggestion is that if this was an in place upgrade from 2003, you
may want to uninstall and do a fresh, clean install of 2007.

I've also seen some people have this issue if they run CutePDF. Uninstalling
it resolved the problem.

Unfortunately, that's all I've got on it. Hopefully someone else can come
along and give you something a little more helpful if the above doesn't work
for you or apply.

Thank you for your reply K. Orlando,

This was not an upgrade it was fresh install of Office 2007. IT has all the
latest updates.

CutePDF not installed on any of the clients machines.

First, I'll update the NIC driver then if that doesn't work, another method
I’ll try inserting another NIC card on clients computer. Will let you know
what happens with this.

Have you tested the user profiles on other PC's in the organization? If the
problem follows from machine to machine, it is likely profile-based. Try
deleting and recreating the Outlook profile to see if it resolves the issue.

Another thing to test is to remove all the Add ins to see if Outlook runs
correctly. If it does, you know it's one of the Add Ins. Put them back, one
at a time to see which one causes the problems.

Hey Orlando,

Yes I have tested user profiles on other PC by swapping a new machine and it
still generates the same issue. Which Profile are you referring to Local
computer profile or Mailbox profile?

Well as far as I can tell the breakdown starts with Addins. I for instance
have Addins such as Xobni and PST Backup Utility in Outlook 2007 and have
never generated nor experienced a crash or application hangs with Outlook. On
the other hand my client who is experiencing this problem has outlook 2007
installed, XOBNI add in, PST Backup Utility and MSCRM Client. My gut is
telling me it’s CRM Client for Outlook that’s causing this because I did
notice MSCRMaddin Errors in event viewer. I posted another topic under
outlook.crm discussion board.

I recently experienced some problems with outlook (illegal operations etc) and reinstalled office to fix the problem but since then I have not been able to send or recieve emails with outlook 97 and outlook express 6. I simply get an error message saying the host can't be found (but does exist and I can ping it successfully). Any suggestions on what I might do? I have tried creating new accounts in windows mail and outlook express, but I still get the same error. Thankyou in advance! Tim D...

unable to paste Excel 2003 chart into Outlook 2003
(This was posted on "excel.charting" group.) I have a user who's unable to paste an Excel 2003 chart into Outlook 2003 email message. In Outlook options, the checkbox is selected for "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages". When I tested this on my own computer running the same version of Office, if the box is check, I have no problem pasting; if this box is cleared, I cannot paste. But on his computer, it doesn't work regardless. Thanks and regards, TL ...

Error 550 Relaying denied
I get this nearly every time I try to send information using MS Outlook email. Any suggestions? You probably need to turn on authentication to your outgoing server. You can do so on the "Outgoing Server" tab for your mail account. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** In news:9cf101c3eacf$a3250cb0$a401280a@phx.gbl, Dick Brenneke wrote: > I get this nearly every time I try to send information > using MS Outlook email. Unknown error from CFtpConnection::GetFile()...
Hi all, I'm having intermittent problems with CFtpConnection::GetFile()... 99% of the time GetFile() succeeds but occasionally it fails and returns FALSE with a GetLastError of 0x2EFF (12031) which I can't find documented/defined anywhere... Anyone know what this error means...? Where it is defined...? A bit of searching on on the web seems to suggest; "The connection with the server has been reset." Can anyone confirm this...? Many thanks, Andy. Andrew Kilgore wrote: > Hi all, > > I'm having intermittent problems with CFtpConnection::GetFile()... > 99%...

CSV Files and VLOOKUP error
Does anyone know why VLOOKUP and Compare formulas don't work o information originating from a CSV file? I've tried copying an pasting values only (to leave behind any formatting), but it doesn' help. Through countless tests, I've narrowed it down to the CSV file bein the only possible cause -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com Hi ajpowers, Just a guess but the imported data may have leading or trailing spaces or are numbers stored as text. You could use the formula =A1=D1 to see if you get a true or false, where A1 is the lookup value and D1 ia the CVS valu...

how do I add error bars to a 3D chart in excel?
The help states you can only add error bars to data series in 2D area. Is there a way to add them to a 3D chart? Hi, I would not have thought so. Obviously as it is not a built-in option the only way would be a work around perhaps using dummy series. Unfortunately you can create 3d combination charts. Stick with the 2d view.
