Issues connecting to mail server

Hello,

I can access my company's mail server using a thin client
version of Outlook 2003. I cannot connect to the mail
server however when using Outlook 2003 thick client on my
machine. All of the settings on my thick client appear
correct and are the same as other people in the company
are using, and they have no problems. Any thoughts about
what I might try to get my thick client connection to
work?

Thanks.

Connection Problem 03-20-08
Hello I'm new to access programming so I'm probably making some obvious mistake. The following code comes from 'Beginning Access 2003 VBA' by Denise Cosnell. On page 130 of the book you can read: 1. Create a new database by selecting File ?New ?Blank Database and specifying Ch5CodeExamples as the filename. 2. Create a new table in the database by selecting Tables from the Database Window and clicking the Design button. Alternatively, you can select the New button and then choose Design View from the list. The table should be named tblContacts and should have the fields i...

new "you must be connected to the internet to sign in online" erro
Hi. I've got the Microsoft Money Plus trial and have only had it for about 2 weeks. It was working fine last time I ran it a few days ago and today when I ran it, it won't log me in. It says, "You must be connected to the internet to sign in online." Nothing interesting has changed on my computer other than: - A new version of zone alarm, which I've tried turning off and running MsMoney, but I still get the same error. - Whatever random updates Microsoft has decided to do. Is anyone else seeing this? Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks, mike In microsoft.public.m...

Manage 5.5 from Win2k3 server
Hello Someone have an idea on how I can install the MMC snap-in on a win2k3 server (Workstation/Test Environment) that will allow me to manage my 5.5 server? I don't want to extend the schema or anything like that I just want to manage Exchange 5.5. I have the Exchange 2003 cd but we aren't going to do the upgrade until mid summer Thank Paul You would run the setup of E2K3 and do a custom install, selecting the Exchange 5.5 system tools along with the E2K3 tools. However, this is going to install the same tools you already have with your 5.5 CD. -- Nick Cavalancia MCSE/MCT/MCNE...

can u convert a mac font to pc for me? (reply and i'll send it to ur e mail)
I doubt anyone will respond positively to your request. Fonts are usually copyrighted, and converting them would be a violation of that copyright. This is especially true if the font is a commercial font. Can you not find a Mac equivalent? I believe I've run across freeware converters for just this purpose. You might try versiontracker. I know I found something to convert some fonts I absolutely needed in a bind (but I have since forgotten). Tentative to Busy issue with Resources
In Outlook 2007; I set up a calendar appointment and invite a resource (in this case a meeting room). I schedule the meeting as Tentative (found in the Event Tab and Options group). When I go back later to the appointment I created, I change the status (from Tentative) to Busy and Send an Update. My appointment shows as Busy on my calendar, but the Resource still shows as Tentative. Is this a bug, normal behavior or known issue w/o a solution? Is there a fix or does anyone have anyone insight about this? Thanks! ...

Recovery server #4
Hi, I am setting up a recovery server to restore an online backup of the info store of an Exchange 2003 server. I can not use the recovery storage group as it is a snapshot backup and not supported by Symantec. I know that the log file path does not matter but does the database path matter? I have done this restore to a recovery server in earlier versions of exchange without issue. The only diffenences in this case is that 1- I am restoring from a snapshot backup 2- I got lazy and recreated the recovery server with only a C: and the production server has the exchange databases on ...

Single Singn on to Exchange Mail Boxes
Hello, My site currently runs MS CRM 4.0, Active Directory and MS Exchange server for mail and calendar. We do have a rather strict password policies, where the users are to change their domain password every 60 days. In most cases, the users, 'forget' to also change the password in the CRM to access the Exchange their mail boxes, expecting single sign on as with most of the other miscrosoft software, which every 2 months causes lots of support issues (like workflows not completing, and mail router not being able to access their mail boxes). Known Outlook issue?
Background information- Docs Open 3.9.6 (File management software) Office XP (including Outlook) MS Exchange Server Issue: In the previous version of Outlook, you could attach a Word document to an email by generating it from DocsOpen (right-click on the document and select "Mail") without Outlook running in the background. Administrating an Upgraded Exchange 2003 Server..
This is really a preliminary enquiry... I have to perform an "in-place upgrade" of an existing Exchange 2000 Standard server, this is to take advantage of the max 75GB database size limit offered by Exchange 2003 Server SP2. I have performed a lab upgrade of a test 2000 Exchange Server and it worked perfectly, very straightforward it was too! My problem is that a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) communicates with the existing Exchange 2000 box and the BES box has Exchange 2000 Server Manager installed and working on it. The Blackberry people have posed the question ...
