Whenever I double-click on an existing .xls file, the file
opens and additionally it also opens a new file book1.xls.
How do I stop the unnecessary blank file from opening.
To open without a blank workbook you need to change the target string
for opening to something like:

I print a large (26"x36" ) calendar in Publisher. I've had to change to a
different plotter. Everytime I go into the page set up to select the new
plotter, Publisher changes the format of my calendar to gibberish. I can
print other Publisher documents to this plotter and someone else can print
the calendar to the plotter, but I'm not able to figure out my problem. Can

it prints the first page with a thumbnail image of the report first and then

You can create a text box in a page footer and then refer back to the
subtotal box in the report. You refer back to the subtotal by putting this
in the expression on your page footer. ReportItems!Subtotal.Value
Just replace the word Subtotal with your exact field name in the report. It
