How do I increase query field length (>20 characters) ?
I want to exclude 3 or 4 variables from a particular query. Using Not
"xx"or"yy" is fine, but when excluding more than this, query fails. I think
the problem is that the total text characters is quite large (approx 60
characters in total, from four exclusions). Ideas, please ?
60 characters is not the limit. 1024 characters is the limit.
POST the SQL of the query that is not working (View: SQL on the menu) or at
a minimum post what you are attempting as the criteria.
Also "query fails" does not tell us if you get an error (what is it) or the

There is no viewer for Publisher files. Maybe you
could ask the sender to convert it to a .pdf file. Or
you could order the Trial version of Pub2003...

I am running Outlook 2003 with BCM on XP Pro. I loaded onto new
machine and having a problem with tasks in Outlook Today. All tasks
with dates July 2006, and beyond are displayed in Outlook Today. Tasks
with earlier dates are not displayed. I have tried resetting the dates
to a date several days later, and the task just updates to that date
and is still displayed in Outlook Today.

The reports available in RMS is not specific enough for my apparel retail
store. I need sell the through rate, average sale, sales/sf, return rate,
discount analysis, all broken down by date, week, month, year, category,
supplier, and then compare against last year's numbers. I want to create my
own web-based reports accessing RMS's SQL database. Does anyone have a
template of data access web page so all I have to do is change the SQL
statement in getting to the right database table?

I'm testing version 10.0 on a test system and using a copy of my live
database. Version 8.0 creates a planned PO when QTY Available falls below
Order Point Qty. It's not working in 10.0. I've checked all my settings
from 8.0 to 10.0 and they all look the same.

We are running Excel 2000 under Windows XP on 2 different PC's.
In a spreadsheet we have imported data from a text file.
The data has included some nonprintable characters which show up as squares
on my PC but as spaces on my colleagues.
We can use the CLEAN function to strip out the squares, but how do we get

You can't, the file format changes twice since version 4. You need a newer
Excel version, a compatible spreadsheet program, or simply a viewer if all
you want to do is view / print the file.

Project 2000. The data consists of Work Request numbers, individual phase
numbers for the Work Request, name of each phase, and (phase) start and end
I can open the Excel file in Project and map the fields, however, the data
shows up as individual tasks. I need to have the Work Request number and
project name be a main, or top-level, task, and the data related to the
phases be sub-tasks.

lines). I would like to add another chart directly below this to show the
turn-time for accomplishing the widgets. It would have the same X-axis values

I have lost my Windows product key. I need to repair my windows. Got the CD
but do not remember the product key. My problem is I accidently copied a GVP
on to my desktop and a white patch appears highlighting all icons with an
