With the full Outlook client you can set GP to auto send/reply for read
reciept, which we want.
Is there any way you can turn that on in OWA as well?
Not universally/centrally for all messages, but for individual messages -
when composing new message, click on "Options" just as you would when
composing a message in Outlook client | you can check "Request a read
receipt for this message" and/or "Request a delivery receipt for this

Outlook is stuck trying to send a message (1 of 1) that does not exist in my
Outbox. I have tried using OutlookSpy to delete any read receipts but there
are none. Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook with no luck. I
have tried to create a new PST, set it as default and delete the Outbox in
the original PST but the delete option was ghosted.
This is becoming very frustrating as although I am able to send other mails
they take a very long time to go.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Does the problem go away when you set the new pst as default?

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue. I am
running Outlook 2002 on a Windows XP machine and I have
multiple folders set up in my folder list so that I can
organize my emails. Today I noticed that in one specific
folder, emails that appeared in it yesterday are not
showing up today. There is no filter applied and I didn't
accidently delete them. Any reason why this happened? Is
there something I can do to view those "lost" emails again?

If I reply or forward an email, it gets hung up in my
outbox. I have NO problem sending a NEW email.

Updated W2K Pro via the update site. Upgraded to IE6.
After reboot, am unable to send email. Recive an immediate
NDR. The NDR gives no error message. The event viewer also
has no errors.
Am able to PING the POP3 sever and the SMTP server.
When in services and we test the email account, all goes
well until it tries to send mail. That is the only
failure. The error states to check the email address field.

If there are rules configured and it applies to a junk e-mail the rule will
fire but not the JEF. This will be changed in SP1.

Recently I have added a second exchange server (win2003 and ex2003) to my
exchange org. the first server is Win2000 and ex2000. If I send any email,
even a plain-text test email from an account which has mailbox on new
exchange server to one of those users with BlackBerry (They have a contact on
exchange to forward a copy of incoming emails to their BlackBerry), they will
receive a duplicate email, the second one has only an attachment winmail.doc.
If I try from any mailbox on first server (old server ex2000) BlackBerry
users will receive only one copy.

This evening my outbox is not emptying when a message is sent. It still
acts like the e-mail hasn't been sent. If you try to close Outlook you are
asked if you really want to close Outlook because there are still messages
to be sent. I checked and the e-mail is in fact being sent. At the same
time about 3/4 of my contacts dissappeared. I can reconstruct them because
I have them backed up. Any idea of what's going on and how to fix it?

We used to have a domain - lets call it olddomain.com - that we sold
off to another company. However, we still have the problem that most of
our existing users (several hundred), have this domain name as an email
alias. Obviously, as the MX records on the internet have changed for
olddomain.com, no one externally is going to email our users using
these addresses but the IT director would like these entries removed

I am using Outlook 2003 / Office Small Business edition on Win XP
I have 5 pop accounts set up, however when I specify an account to send
mail through, it always sends through one account rathe than the one I
specify. It will say in the email that it is being sent through account
"A" but when I look in the sent folder, it really sent through account "B".

I have changed so settings for my email, but this week started getting
duplicate emails. I looked under Details when the mail was coming in.
Usually I see 6 tasks (I have 3 accounts, so 3x2 for send and receive).

We are having problems with users not receiving emails in a timely fashion.
The scenario is this, all users are local users on the Exchange server:
User1 sends an email to User2 and User3. User3 gets the email right away,
several minutes will pass before User2 receives the email. Sometimes this
can be up to several hours before a User will get the email. The problem is
not isolated to one User being the one that has the delay.

I recently moved and changed my ISP and deleted my old
email accounts. When I added my new email accounts, I had
no send button to send the message with. It wasn't
acknowledging any of my email accounts. They weren't
listed on the drop down account button. Only after I
duplicated every email account entry did the send button
appear. Now, a month later, only my default account shows
up in the drop down so that's the only account I can send
from, yet I have a total of 5 email accounts, which I can
