I am having trouble parsing the date and time in a field. I download
data from a data base and the date and time come together in one
field. I want to seperate the two. The date and time comes across as
the following: "2/1/2009 14:37" in the cell. When I parse it, it

In Outlook 2007 I would like to mass mail about twenty recipients but do not
need to maintain contacts. How can I configure this so that each recieves an
email with their email address only.
You can put all the addresses in the BCC field then.
Depending on where you have written down the addresses, you can also use a
mail merge or reply via a rule.

I have been using Outlook for over 1 year with Comcast
Broadband. Suddenly last week, I received a message that
Outlook 2000 was experiencing a problem when receiving new
e-mails and was going to shut down. I re-opened Outlook

I am getting a lot of spam recently, at least looking at the numbers of
mails in my junk folder.
However, it turns out that these messages are not spam at all, but just
regular messages (even from the same domain), that should remain in the
regular inbox. Even when I identify a message as 'Not spam', then
subsequent messages from that sender keep popping up in the junk
Obviously I have changed the junk mail settings to 'No automatic
filtering' but Outlook keeps thinking it is smarter than I am.

The best way to get started with macros is to use the Macro
Recorder. Go to the Tools menu, choose Macros, then Record New
Macro. Then, carry out some simple tasks and examine the code

Not possible I'm afraid. Try placing the dat from both cells into one
and use "Center across selection" under Format>Cells>Alignment
Merge cells always end up causing grief. they are best avoided.

Does Outlook treat messages in the deleted items folder any differently than
messages in other folders? Would it be better for him to never delete

It would be better to not delete them since Deleted Items... is for things

My current setup has a Windows NT 4.0 Exchange 5.5 server setting on our
company LAN behind a Microsoft ISA Server. The Exchange server's Internet
Mail Connector binds to (I assume this is the proper terms) port 25 on the
ISA server for inbound and outbound Internet Mail.
Our company has finally upgraded to a new Cisco Pix Firewall which we are
able to setup a DMZ on. The suggestion by our ISP is to setup an SMTP
gateway in the DMZ and have our internal Exchange server send mail to it
destined for the Internet.

When I print a mail merge (I don't use it for mailings and envelopes),
Publisher prints out the first 5 records as an individual document then the
next 5 as a seperate document, and so forth. Since I often need to make
multiple copies of these documents, I end up having to collate them by hand.
How can I get Publisher to print the entire merge as one document before
printing the second, third, copy? I believe when I had P'03 it would print
that way, but when I upgraded to '07 this problem started.

I want to add a macro to a worksheet that will print selected information
held on certain rows of the worksheet.
Once the 'button' has been selected a mesage box will pop up asking the user
to input which row number he/she wishes to print.
On input that number is matched to the corresponding row of the worksheet
and that row is copied (without any formula - just cell values) and pasted
into another worksheet where it is placed into other formats and printed.

I have a problem with Outlook 2003 and I hope someone can help me resolve it
I imported a PST file from Outlook XP that was on a different machine, and
now I have two versions of Personal Folders in my All Mail Folders list.
They both have Deleted Items, Drafts, Inbox, Junk E-mail, Outbox, Sent Items
and Search Folders in.
One of them has an icon of a piece of paper with a clock to the top left and
