Are they in your Junk E-mail folder? Are they in the New Mail folder? Do you
scan incoming messages with an antivirus or third-party antispam application?
That's often a cause of what you are seeing.

Inconvenient FIND emails order ( from Older to newer )
OUTLOOK 2003 ( and previous versions) I use the FIND and ADVANCE FIND features a lot, and I have many messages in my business archives. The default search order seems to be from OLDER to NEWER. To expedite my searches, I'd need the default to be just the opposite, from NEWER to OLDER I'd venture to say that this would be the preferred way for most users. I have not seen any way to configure this in the Tools-Options, or anywhere else in the program. Is it possible to set it that way or is this a WISH LIST item to send to Microsoft? Thanks in advance FL Further to my previou...

Can't access delivered email
I have Windows XP and use Outlook express for my email. I also have Norton for security. Sometimes, not always, when I boot up Outlook Express, it will say something like "Two new emails" but nothing appears on my Inbox list. Server connection is fine. I'm afraid I'm missing important emails and don't know how to access them. Is this a security issue? Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them. Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports. Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups...

Email sent from the Administrator account
We just put up SBS 2003 which includes Exchange 2003. I've been monitoring the Que and notice most of the messages are from the system or Administrator account. Then I looked at the extended server usage report to discover that the administrator has sent over 1500 emails compared to abot 300 for my 12 other users. Questions: 1- Is this normal? 2- Is this machine being spammed or used in some way? 3- Has someone hacked the account? Please excuse the newbie question. Outlook 2007 hangs after receiving all email messages.
I am running Outlook 2007 on Windows 7. When I launch Outlook the first time, it will download all my email messages and then it hangs on the last one. For example, if there are 20 messages to download, it will get to 'Receiving message 20 of 20' and just hang there, it will never come up with the message 'Send/Receive Complete'. The only way I can get out of it and be able to send and receive again is to close down Outlook, go into the task manager and kill the Outlook process that is still running and relaunch Outlook. Then it seems to work fine again. Any a...

recurring appointments show as emails
We uses shared calendars at work with designated recurring appointment slots. Some people are having issues since upgrading to Office 2007 with their appointments opening as an email. They start by adding the appoinment info to a certain date and time by typing in the slot (not opening the single occurance). Then they close out of the calendar and later reopen calendars the appointment typed in is gone. They then double click open the single occurance which is now an email which can't be deleted or forwarded or sent as an email. The only solution we have is to delete the whol...

They run the report out of FRx, the confirm that they reports are in the webport and then send out emails saying the updated reports are out there. Somewhere along the line, the reports disappears from Webport. I can't find the article now; but I believe I read where if the repository.xml gets to big, you will see unstable things happen. We keep it pretty clean now. Our repository.xml is 178K which should be OK; but we are still seeing reports disappear. Any ideas? Is the file itself in the \Data directory ...
