Inconvenient FIND emails order ( from Older to newer )
OUTLOOK 2003 ( and previous versions) I use the FIND and ADVANCE FIND features a lot, and I have many messages in my business archives. The default search order seems to be from OLDER to NEWER. To expedite my searches, I'd need the default to be just the opposite, from NEWER to OLDER I'd venture to say that this would be the preferred way for most users. All my embedded images in Outlook have disappeared
I can no longer see any embedded images in either incoming or outgoing mails in Outlook 2007 - all I see is a rectangle but not even any placement holders. Can't access delivered email
I have Windows XP and use Outlook express for my email. I also have Norton for security. Sometimes, not always, when I boot up Outlook Express, it will say something like "Two new emails" but nothing appears on my Inbox list. Server connection is fine. I have Email Sub-Folders set up with Rules to automatically send the E-Mails from my Inbox to the Sub-Folder. If there is new mail in hte sub-folder the sub-folder is Bold with the number of new messages but the Top-Folder is not. If i do not have the folder expanded i do not know i have new mail. Hi, 3rd line of my email has a URL/Hyperlink to a pdf file... I would like to open this URL/PDF and run OCR on it and upon existance of certain words move the email to diffrent email box... We just put up SBS 2003 which includes Exchange 2003. I've been monitoring the Que and notice most of the messages are from the system or Administrator account. Then I looked at the extended server usage report to discover that the administrator has sent over 1500 emails compared to abot 300 for my 12 other users. I highly doubt this is possible but want to be sure. For compliance reasons my company needs to provide all email's sent from to a dist group during a specific time frame. Since dist groups aren't mailboxes, I'm guessing it can't be done. But in case I'm not aware of another way - is there a way to search and export sent emails somehow? Outlook 2007 hangs after receiving all email messages.
I am running Outlook 2007 on Windows 7. When I launch Outlook the first time, it will download all my email messages and then it hangs on the last one. For example, if there are 20 messages to download, it will get to 'Receiving message 20 of 20' and just hang there, it will never come up with the message 'Send/Receive Complete'. The only way I can get out of it and be able to send and receive again is to close down Outlook, go into the task manager and kill the Outlook process that is still running and relaunch Outlook. recurring appointments show as emails
We uses shared calendars at work with designated recurring appointment slots. Some people are having issues since upgrading to Office 2007 with their appointments opening as an email. They start by adding the appoinment info to a certain date and time by typing in the slot (not opening the single occurance). Then they close out of the calendar and later reopen calendars the appointment typed in is gone. FRx Webport Repository
We are having a problem with FRx Reports disappearing from the FRx Webport. They run the report out of FRx, the confirm that they reports are in the webport and then send out emails saying the updated reports are out there. Somewhere along the line, the reports disappears from Webport. I can't find the article now; but I believe I read where if the repository.xml gets to big, you will see unstable things happen.
