Extremely Slow to Delete E-mails (and Marks as Read/Unread)

Hi, I recently installed Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 (on my MacBook Pro via
Parallels). After installing, I imported the PST file from the version of
Outlook on my old computer. Everything worked great at first, but for no
obvious reason Outlook has begun really, really dragging (5-10 seconds for
actions to be completed) when I attempt to delete e-mails and mark e-mails as
read/unread.

This is definitely not a computer hardware issue as this is a new and
extremely fast computer. This lagtime is becoming unbearable and is
resulting in it taking me nearly twice as long to get through my e-mails.
I've tried both restarting Outlook, Windows, and my computer. Can anyone
diagnose this and provide some potential solutions?

Thanks,
Alex

First, importing from a PST is not recommneded. Simply open the PST to gain
access to what it contains. If it's the only PST you need to access, then
make it the default data file on Tools>Account Settings>Data Files.

Have you applied all the Office service packs that are available? See if this

Having problem of Outlook not receiving new e-mails

converting tabular structures in a Word document into an actual table or reading data from the tabular structures using VBA code
I have a macro which can read the last cell/column of all tables in a Word 2003/2007 document and store the data in an MS-Access table. But, some Word documents have the data in structures like a table format but are not actually tables. The structure looks like a table, but the table borders are actually line connectors. Deleted items folder in o2k3
The big boss refuses to empty or archive his deleted items, now holding some 25,000 messages and approaching 3 gigs in size for the deleted items folder alone. Does Outlook treat messages in the deleted items folder any differently than messages in other folders? How do I setup an SMTP gateway / smart host for Exchange 5.5 internet bound mail
My current setup has a Windows NT 4.0 Exchange 5.5 server setting on our company LAN behind a Microsoft ISA Server. The Exchange server's Internet Mail Connector binds to (I assume this is the proper terms) port 25 on the ISA server for inbound and outbound Internet Mail. Our company has finally upgraded to a new Cisco Pix Firewall which we are able to setup a DMZ on. Is there any way to put a focus trigger on the button of the dialogue box, or on the "x" button? Thanks in advance. I assume you are working with Dexterity. To work with an add...

I believe when I had P'03 it would print that way, but when I upgraded to '07 this problem started. You can't... Maybe later with a service pack these printing bugs will b...
