Ask the question in an iPhone forum. This one deals with neither Exchange nor
iPhones, only Outlook.

As per the title, really! I have some tasks which only occur on weekends, and a 'weekend-only' team which will do them. It was simple to create a 'weekend only' calendar in Project 2003; is there a simple way of doing the same in 2007? Thanks Hi, Not as simple, but still: Tools Change Working time Select the resource Click Work Weeks Click details set Sat/Sun to "... specific working times", click enter before hitting OK Set Mo-Fri to "non working times" There you are. Sql Server Group Database Location?
Hi, I just recently installed MS CRM 3.0 (SQLServer 2000) The installation instruction specify creating the CRM database under the local Sql Server Group. Something about this doesn't seem right and I want to double check. The Great Plains database is not installed under the LOCAL group, rather it is installed under BRESLOW-DC\GREATPLAINS. (GP8.0) Why isn't the MS CRM database installed under a similar group, in our case BRESLOW-DC\CRM or even under the same group BRESLOW-DC\GREATPLAINS. It doesn;t feel right that it is installed under the LOCAL SQL Server Group. Please confir...

CPU spikes on sql server
We have noticed most of the same performance issues that are reported around here, but in trying to research a few of these I noticed the following strange behavior. Every 10 minutes a sql agent runs a process for "stored procedure priming". When this runs, the cpu on the server pegs at 100% for about 30 seconds. then back to 0% or so until the next firing This is a almost brand new install and only 1 or 2 users hit it. We have only begun to put data into it, so there isn't very much. Seems odd to me that a frequently scheduled process would hit things that hard that ...

Moving Public Folders #5
Is there anyway to move the hiearchy in the public folder listing? We have this +Public Folders Pub Folder1 Pub Folder2 Pub Folder3 What we want is this: +Public Folders Organization Name Pub Folder1 Pub Folder2 Pub Folder3 There are over 20K items, so moving them by hand is definatly out of the question. How can we create a new top level folder then place all existing folders under that? ESM only selects one item, and PFDavAdmin doesnt seem like it can do it. Thanks. Exchange Front End Server Question
We currently are running SBS 2003 and Enterprise Exchange. Our SBS box is acting as our front end server. We are moving away from SBS and I will be moving exchange to it own server. Any ideas the amount of power a front end server will require? I would think that since it is only handling http requests, the box does not need to be that powerful We have about 35 users with expected growth over the next 3 years to 80 users. Thanks, Mike 3 years? Who knows, in 3 years you might get a 64bit 16GB RAM 12GHz processor machine for $19.95 to run Exchange <insert new marketing name&...

Exchange Failing when Removing GC from same box
The background: I am trying to install Exchange 2007 but cannot because I have two Windows 2000 DCs with GCs. The two Windows 2000 DCs happen to be on the same boxes as my Exchange 2000 cluster. I have two other Windows 2003 boxes in the same site with all FSMO roles and both are GC. The problem: I'm in a catch 22 because I cannot install Exchange 2007 and when I remove either the GC role from the Windows 2000 boxes or demote them, Exchange fails. The Question: Has anyone come across a situation like this and know of a solution? Thanks In order to install Ex07, you will ne...

Exchange Organization Name

After system crash we have to rebuild the exchange system and have good backups of the edb files but do not know what the exact organization name. If that doesn't work, do you still have the "Exchange Server Setup.log" file that was at the root of the drive? If so, you can search it for the Organization Name. Activate Mailbox Calendars without logging on as user?
Hi Exchange experts, I have created a test site with an OU of 20 users with Exchange 2003 mailboxes. I would like to use PFDAVAdmin to grant everyone read only permissions to the calendars and grant publishing editor (or equivalent) permissions on the calendars so I can populate the users with test appointments. Exchange Email Router to compatible with SBS 2003?

One slight lack of due diligence is just biting me in the backside: During installation of the Exchange Email Router, CRM Professional tells me that it cannot install on Small Business Server 2003 (with Exchange). Message is 'operating system version 5.2 is not supported [...]'. I do have access to CRM Small Business Edition through my MSDN subscription. exchange 2003 sp2 database

I cannot find any information about what happens when the store grows bigger that 32 GB. We need the functionality that SP2 gives regarding the 16 GB limit. Thanks in advance That is total nonsense. The limiting factor in database size is backup/restore windows and maintenance times. /Simon "Ruud Boersma" <RuudBoersma@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:127CBDC8-65E3...
