Why does copy and paste between eMails not work?
Copy no longer copies to the clipboard. Is there a setting I have deleted
somewhere? Using Windows 7 and Office 2007 proffessional.
Does it work if you restart outlook?
Do you have any addins installed that could be erasing the clipboard? I've
seen this happen with addins and contacts, but not email. to test, open the
new message form before copying so you just need to copy and switch to the

I am trying to create a pivot table/chart from data that is listed b
week. So my table has "week" as the row field and "total X" as th
column field. I want the chart to display the total for each week as
bar (the easy part) and also to graph the average of the last fou
weeks as a line on top of the bar graph. I have tried to figure ou
how to add a calculated pivot item but I can't seem to get it to wor
right. So for each week there would be a second almost subtotal lik
entry that calculates the average for the previous four weeks (if ther
aren't four previo...Outlook and Hotmail -- now works again! For some not all?

I have a backend that contains tables that I pull Driver information,
Customer information , etc. (these are MAS 200 accounting software
tables that are exported nightly to the SQL backend). I also have on
the backend tables that I push information to; information that we
enter on the forms located on the front end. I might not have this
up correctly, but I'm linking all tables on the back end to the
database on the front end. When trying to set up an Auto Lookup off
a query I've created in Access it says I need to go into the table
change Data Type to the Lookup wizard,...Using a VBscript to copy/delete/move Outlook messages
I need to write a VBscript to:
- open my Outlook (2000 or XP) mailbox
- read the list of the folders in either the Exchange Mailbox and in local
- open each folder and subfolders
- read information about messages (i.e. sender, recipient, creation date,
and so on)
- move, copy or delete messages based on the above information

I put a copy of my money file into the laptop briefcase
and I am able to keep them in sych for a while. For some
reason I get locked out, the computer knows the file has
been updated but it will not let the desk top file update
the laptop file, I get the following message;
"The source file can not be opened"
"Check to see if the other program has the file opened,
and close the file before updating the briefcase."
Other files update just fine. When I get this message, I
can't even drag a new copy of the Money file to my

Hi, how do i disable the generation by money of trended items? dont want to
manualy delete them all the time.
If you customize the cash flow chart, you can change the chart to not use
trended items, but use budgeted items instead.

Everything works,except from the Exchange Features tab.
When selecting this tab, ADUC hangs.
Any ideas. (I have to stay on SP3!)

I set up a rule that when an email arrives if my name is in the "to" or "cc"
field then forward the email to another external SMTP address for example an

I have a workbook with several tabs. First tab is a "menu" type page
(summary of other pages). Currently I have hyperlinks to all the other pages
from the menu page. What I want to be able to do is copy the menu page into
an email and enable the users to click on the existing hyperlinks (whatever
adjustments needed) to go directly to their page of the workbook. Using
Excel 2007. Please advise how to do this and what changes may be need for
both options to work.

These groups need to be either Global or Universal groups. Universal groups

When one hits "Track in CRM" on an e-mail from outlook we all know that it
CREATES an e-mail in the CRM system. The date that the e-mail is created in
CRM is placed in the field CreatonDate. When we look at the related record
it shows up in order based on the Created Date.
The rub is this. What do we do when we have a user who is just coming on
board with CRM and they have e-mail history they want to link that goes back
years. There does not seem to be any linking relative to the received date.

When I set up my outlook I lose all my inbox messages online and would not be
able to read my email from work. Is there a way to have my inbox available on
outlook and remain online?
Just to clarify, are you asking how to set up Outlook at home to receive
email from work? If that's your question, you need to ask your IT Admin or
Exchange Admin if you can use OWA and how that's done. That wouldn't have
email coming into your Outlook account but it is a form of Outlook, Outlook

I am running Outlook 2003 sp2. When I send a meeting request out to a
large group of people I uncheck the option to request responses. For
the most part it works except, I continually get one response back out
of the several hundred that I send. The only difference that I can see
between this user and all others is that he is responding back to the
meeting request from his pda, which is connecting via owa. If I
respond directly from owa, it works fine. I tested using another pda
and experienced the same problem. Any ideas?

One user, can't get emails internally. We get the following message:

However, ifthe 1st cell (e.g. A3 is in date format like 12/12/2003, when I use the Rept A3,1 function in another cell (e.g.cell R3), it returns the date as a number (37967). What I want is for the date to be repeated exactly as is (12/12/2003 or whatever date is typed).

Don't use the REPT function. Just enter =A3 and apply the date format you
want using Format, Cells if you do not automatically get it.

First off I would like to say thank you to anyone who responds!
I've created a universal security group with various members and nested the
security group in a universal distribution group.
The issue is no one can view the membership of the distribution list via OWA
or Outlook. The distribution list displays nothing in the membership of the
group. I would like to have either the security group or the members of the
security group listed in the distribution group membership.
