EVENT DISPLAY

Outlook 2007

In the week view of calendar the ALL DAY EVENTS are displayed at the top of
the column. If you indicate a specific time for an event you need to scroll
down to see it. Is there a way to display specific time events at the top of
the column?

Not in the day or week view. The month view will show the appointments
like this. See http://slipstick.me/2wk for a way to show fewer weeks in
the month view.

Syncing with Blackberry: bug with private events in calendar?
When I create a "private" calendar event in the Blackberry, the corresponding entry that appears in Outlook does not have the private flag set. Our synchronizing is using the Blackberry Wireless Sync, and we use MS Exchange and a Blackberry Enterprise Server. Is this a bug/known limitation? Thats a good question. I too have experienced this. doesnt bother me much as i dont set many 'private' calendar events. Verticle Scroll Bar Not Displayed as Expected
I have a form with a text box. The text box properties are set to allow verticle scroll bars. The text box margins (L/R/T/B) are set to .02". This is to allow reading the entries easier. This is causing the scroll bar for the text box NOT to show, but when I set the margins to 0", the scroll bar appears. Is this a known bug? Any work-arounds? I've never had to use scroll bars, but I'm pretty sure I've seen here or elsewhere that the scrollbar will only appear if the data in the control is large enough to require the scrollbar in order to be viewed. totals do not display unless user clicks on text box
I am relatively new to access. I am using access 2007 to create a report that contains subtotals. When the report is displayed on the screen the subtotals are blank. When the user clicks on the subtotal text box then the value appears. The user has to click on each subtotal in order to make the value appear. Has anyone experience this problem? Is there a workaround or solution? Thanks Normally a sub-total in a report is achieved by means of an unbound text box in a group footer with a ControlSource property which is an expression summing a set of values from the detail sect...

Sinking MS Access form events from MFC console app
Hi All, I'm trying to sink MS Access form events using technique described in <<HOW TO: Handle Events for Excel by Using Visual C++ .NET (http://www.kbalertz.com/Q309301/Handle.Events.Excel.Using.Visual.aspx)>> Of course I did do all the needed code substitutions etc. All works rather well, I mean I'm getting to MS Access form IConnectionPointContainer etc. But the last code line - hr = m_pConnectionPoint->Advise(m_pAppEventListener,&m_dwConnectionCookie); doesn't work and returns hr = -2147220990. Free/Busy information only displayed from 1/1/05 to 3/1/05
Since the beginning of the year, the Free/Busy window for almost ALL of my (800+) users is 'stuck' at 1/1/05 through 3/1/05. Most users publish 2 month's worth of free/busy from Outlook, so I should see one month prior to today's date and two months ahead. If a user increases the # of months published in outlook, the free/busy time is adjusted to 1/1/05 through the correct month, so I know that _some_ level of communication is happening between outlook and exchange. I run a mixed exch5.5 and exch2003 environment. Most clients are outlook 2000 or 2003. The problem oc...

Display Query from form in Foreground
I have a form upon which the user selects display, filter and sort fields. He then clics the submit button and a query is built and then displayed with the following code: DoCmd.OpenQuery "Queryname", acNormal, acEdit The query works but shows up in the background and cant be clicked on until the form is closed. The idea was to create a form on which the user could do adhoc queries until he gets it right and then click another button to do the Excel extract. Can an Access PivotChart display standard deviation error bars?
I'm using Office 2003 in a medical device field to manage a quality assurance database. The engineers who will be using the database need to know the statistical significance of all data, and it is standard to show all charts with standard deviation, percentile, or max/min plots. display recipient using BCC
Hello all- I've got a question regarding sending out mailings to multiple recipients. What I'd like to do is prevent each recipient from seeing the names of all of the other recipients but I don't want the TO: line to be empty, I'd like it to show just the one name of the person receiving the mail. Display count of characters in a cell while typing.
Not sure if this should be here or in the worksheet.functions newsgroup but I think here is a safe spot. As a user types text into a cell I would like to have another cell display the number of characters that are currently in it. The count has to be 'live', meaning that as the person is typing the counter is updating, not simply updating after the user has pressed 'Enter'. Alternately, a count-down counter would be even nicer ;-) Suggestions? Search brought up nothing. -- Toby Erkson Oregon, USA Excel 2002 in Windows XP Hi not really possible as macros don&#...

Report Server Date Discrepancy with CRM Display
