Using VLOOKUP and text
I am using a Vlookup function to find dollar values, dates, and names of
vendors made within a department.
The dollar values are appearing correctly, but the dates appears as
"01/00/00" when the field is empty and all the text strings appear as "0"
even though there is a name in the source sheet.
I have changed the formatting of each cell to be correct to the appropriate
format (accountancy, date, text) and even tried 'general' to fix this text
problem to no avail.
If A1 is empty, and you put this in B1: =a1
You'll see it returns a 0.

I have an MFC application, where I'm interested in displaying some
text for the user in the client area. To do this, I create a device
context, and use the .TextOut method to display CStrings.
The problem begins when the window is resized, or when a menu that
hides the text pops - once the menu is closed, or after the window has
been resized, the text (or parts of it) are being erased.
How can this be solved? I read that when the window is resized,

I've been trying to figure out how to use/create additional text font colors
beyond the 40 palate or 16 additional in the Format Cells dialog.

The problem is that "DataRow" has a "Table" property that points back to the
same "dataTable" in the "using" statement above. That object is disposed of
in the "using" statement however so I assume the "Table" property will now
point to garbage (...issues with thermal recipt printer drivers

I have a workbook containing several worksheets. The specific worksheet of
concern is set up to allow the user to fill in information and as such will
be protected to eliminate the risk of changes. All cells have been set as
Protected except those where the user is allowed to fill in data, AND those
cells have had Wrapping enabled (actually, the whole row (NOT the whole

I add a new field to quote: "related_other_account_id". This field store the

I have three date fields we use for follow up:
Then I have a text box I've named Status and a check box I've named Not
The idea is for us to enter a date in FU1 after the first follow up is
completed. Once the date is entered in FU1, the Status text box is updated to
read "First Follow Up". Same goes for FU2 and FU3.
If the Not Interested check box is checked off, the Status is updated to "Not
