Importing Microsoft Entourage
I am trying to import mailboxes from Microsoft Entourage (Mac) into Outlook 2003. Instead of coming up as a new folder when I drag the files on, the mbox file is coming up as an attachment in a new email message. Can anyone help with the importing of Entourage emails? I am hoping to do it without individualling turning every email into a separate file, rather as an entire folder. Try posting this in microsoft.public.outlook.mac or microsoft.public.office.entourage. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Outlook 2007 can't import from Excel 2007?
Playing around with something else, I noted that the Import from Other File or program option in Outlook 2007 only mentions Excel 97-2003. Huh? Deleting Messages Taking More Space On Hard Drive
Alias, I was running low on hard disk space and hadn't deleted email for a while. I went in and deleted alot of email messages but I have less free space on the computer than when I started. I went to tools, options, maintenance, clean up now, compact, but this didn't help. Any ideas on what to do to defrag or free up space so deleting messages doesn't take up more space on hard drive? Regards, Wayne Bytendorp There isn't anything you can really do with your current pst file. One a pst file starts to increase in size it will never shrink even if you compress. The...

Importing Window Outlook contacts into Entourage 2008
Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: intel I am switching to a MacBook Air from a Windows PC with Outlook. How do I import my contacts (.pst files) which I have saved on a thumb drive to Entourage 2008? Thanks for your help There is no way to directly access the PST file on the Mac. If the account is on an Exchange Server, you can just connect to the Exchange Server from Entourage and have Entourage download your data. Otherwise, you will need to open the PST file on another machine (with Outlook) and use a tool like Paul Berkowitz's "Export-Import E...

Ability to import updates to Accounts desperately needed.
Example is that I am an advertising publisher and I get a list of all my clients who are also advertising in other publications. I want to import the list and update a field in the account record with a date that the customer used our competitor. I can then send out an email to all customers who advertised in the competitor that week reminding them about advertising with us. So what's required is that you can select an import vehicle such as an Excel Spreadsheet, map the fields in the spreadsheet to the fields in CRM, choose a unique "Match Field" and then import the data...

Error when importing customizations
I exported some customizations from one CRM installation and tried to import them into another CRM installation for a client. When importing onthe client's installation, the import function fails and I receive the contact your adminstrator error message. I tested the import on the original installation by re-importing the original xml to the site and then importing the changes that had been previously exported. There was no problem with the import on the original site. I thought that I should be able to export customizations from one site and import them to another site without ...

Updating a table using a spreadsheet as input
Greetings all: I have a client who is using an Access 2003 application to keep their membership data.
