Money Plus Premium Activation Disaster on Vista (Again)
I was happily using Money 2007 on my Vista Business laptop and with my
subscription to onlione services running out I decided to upgrade to the
2008 version. What a mistake that turn out to be!
In order to activate Money launches an activation application. Curiously the
name of the app and the name of the executable file differ - the app is coded
to be called activate_TMP.exe ,while the name of the executable on the file
system is activate.exe. In addition the word "Customer" is misspelled as
"Cutomer" on the screen which leads me to believe that we have a case of

Having a similar problem where I never wanted a selected sheet to
print. The solutions posted at best still printed something when the
sheet that I did not want to print was active. I used the following
code to alway block the printing of "Sheet1" in the example where the
workbook has three (3) sheets:

We just upgraded a customer to GP 10.0 - the Historical Inventory Trial
Balance report is not showing any invoice transactions, only purchase
receipts. What would be causing this?
Are they running any 3rd party invoicing or SOP products?
This happened to us. We use Nolan recurring invoices. An upgrade from SP2
to SP3 fixed this for us.
Have you run the IV Reset? This is a new report in v 10 and you need to run
through a routine to initialize the HITB.

Using Money 2004, my file has grown to over 50mb is size. Tired of slow
response with money. Is there a way to start a new year, say 2005, and
import just my accounts. I don't need the balances as I can imput them
Also is there a way to turn off the cash flow forecast graph that appears on
the bottom of each account. Whenver I change accounts it takes forever for
the forecasting to be complete. It's bad enough on my desktop computer
which is a 2ghz machine, but completely unbearable on my old notebook which
chugs along at 600mhz. (I know, I know, get a new notebook)
i want to start again, so how can i remove all figures & hve a nill balance
to start over for the new year??
File > New and pick a different file name in case you ever want to refer

I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for.
I have tried to print messages from two different
workstations from Outlook and have been unsuccessful.
Both stations are receiving encrypted messages from a
station that has a Digital Certificate. I have imported
the certificate to those two stations but when I try to
print the encrypted received messages I still
receive "OUTLOOK.exe has generated an error and Windows
will not close the program. The application must be
restarted. An error log has been created.". Is this a
known issue? How can I fix the problem?

When saving a publication originally created in Print mode, Publisher 2003
seems to automatically change it to Web mode if a hyperlink was accidentally

I am trying to create an address block in a letter generating report. I use
VbCrLf to get the address lines on the correct lines. When you export to PDF
from the reports intranet, it comes up as all squares. I tried replacing the
VbCrLf with char(13) + char(10) and it does the same thing. I have tested
this same functionality with SQL Server 2008 and I have no issues. Is there
a fix or something that I am missing for this?

Hi .. I'm a long time Quicken user thinking of moving from Q2002 H&B
to Money 2007 H&B since I was able to get that version. I converted my
file and all seemed ok. I'm now comparing reports from Q to Mny, and
they're not adding up.
So far I've found that several split transactions (and I assume all)
do not show up in my report. For example, I split a $100 cash debit
between $10 parking expense and $40 meals. The remaining $50 is

settings and the bottom option, indent and use ">" is checked but the

In Access 2007, reports have a new view (called Report view) that allows for
this kind of thing.
You can't do that in other views, so not in previous versions.

Tips for Acces...Rounding/truncating values in Reports
I am building a custom report which gives a summary of the number of
accounts, leads and opportunities each manager has, and a break down of
the opportunities and leads (like the Account Overview report). In the
opportunity and lead summary sections, I want to display the top 5 by
price, and display the total estimated value, total weighted value and
average estimated probability (just like the Account Overview). I have
created all this and it's fine, except for the fact that it displays
the monetry values with no dollar sign and 1 decimal place, and the

have to manually uprotect and protect them. Is there a was to do this

copy/paste the content of the Home
Publishing project into Publisher 2003.
In Home Publishing, open your project
Edit / Select all...(Ctrl - A)
Edit / Copy...(Ctrl - C)
In Publisher...go to...

I'm having the same problem as Gavelle described below.
That is: I've followed the advice and set up a form to have my queries and
reports pick the dates from the form. But the queries/reports are still
asking me to
