Templates are...Need Balances on Item Transactions
No on hand balances show in the Item
Transactions inquiry or smartlists. This will probably take programming as
what we would like is to see the balance when that transaction occured.
For instance if we started with 100, and this transaction was -2, I would
like to see 98 either in another column on that line or as the starting
quantity on the next line. So, 12345 - 100 starting - -2, then the next
line 12345 - 98 - -5, then the next line 12345 - 93 - +15. Basically a
running tally of the on hand inventory at the time of the transaction.

I'm trying to scan a field in one of my tables and find a specific character
and remove it. However, the character is a " so I'm having difficulty. The
field I speak of of contains the sizes of our material so the values look
1/3" and so on.
How can I find all of the " in my feild and remove them? I don't want to
replace them I just want to remove them.

Ok... when I first bought Money several years ago and installed it on my home
computer, I could then login while at work via the passport and see the
information that I had entered on my home computer. If I purchased something
during the day I could go online and add the transaction which was great way
to know at any given moment what my TRUE balance was in my account.
Now when I check my Money account online from work I can see all the
information I've entered at home but now there is no way to add a new
transaction other then from my home computer where I have Money installed.

I downloaded my transactions and of course some had blank categories. I want

I need to delete my normal.dot file and I can't find it anywhere. I've had to do this before and I was able to find it in the templates folder, but I guess an update or two has changed that. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Spotlight says that it doesn't exist. But I have to be able to delete it. Is it called something different now?

the side shown in the brochure options. When I print, it prints both sides
yet I can see no way to access the inside part. Thanks.
View, status bar... this will allow you to change page views, you will see the page
tabs at the bottom of the screen.
I am not sure I know what you are asking. Are you saying you are printing the
brochure sight unseen?

I had to move my primary hard drive into another computer. It is now running
as a slavein the new computer. I'm unable however, to find my calendar and
contacts from Outlook 2003 when I open the program on the new computer. If I
attempt to open the program from the F drive (the drive assigned in the new
computer to the hard drive that was moved from another computer) it tells me
the program is not installed. If I open Outlook 2003 from the C drive of the

There are a lot of folders and Excel spreadsheets on our shared drive that I
need to open. Most of the folders and file names are named like:
get reports\reports sep 2004.xls
When I try to open one, Excel doesn't find it and I think it's because there
are spaces in the folder names and/or file names. Is there a setting in Excel
that will help me get around this? This was working until I had a glitch in
Excel and the technician fixed the glitch and this problem appeared.

an easy way to find all cells that contain exactly 12 characters? I tried
searching for ???????????? and ************ but it finds every cell.
If you use Data->Filter->Advanced Filter you can use the 12 ?s as your filter.
You need a column header - let's say it is Values, and let's say your data
is in column A
Then in C1 type Values and in C2 type ????????????
Then select a cell in column A and go to Advanced Filter. Set C1:C2 as the
criteria range, and clikc on OK
