I have only very limited experience with Excel (just opening documents I've
gotten by e-mail, and have never made an Excel document before myself), and
I have a course assignment for a *intro to computers* class. I have to make
up a grade sheet where different grade types are weighted differently. For
example, the Quiz grades are weighted 25%, Unit Tests 40%, and the Final
Exam 35%. Also, workbook grades are added into the unit test grades.

I've updated office X to version 10.1.6 using the recently developed
security update. I've encountered some problems with files that I had
previously made using powerpoint. Seems as if the updated version of
powerpoint will no longer open some of these files. The exact error
message I receive is as follows:
PowerPoint cannot read HD:Users:reddog:Desktop:235 presentation.ppt.
After uninstalling the 10.1.6 and reinstalling Office up to the 10.1.5
update, everything opened fine. So, I'm guessing this recent update
is the culprit (although I'm sure I could be wrong)...Installation Issues
I purchased Microsoft Money Premium 2007 and am using Windows XP Media Center
2005. Whenever I download the file and when attempting to install the
application my CPU usage jumps to 100% and stays there. The program never
gets installed. I've turned off my Trend Micro 2007 Security Suite, attempted
to install it as admin, attempted to install it in safe mode, nothing works.
Everything else I attempt to install goes just fine. Any suggestions?

This may not be in the right category but I thought I would try here. I have
a macro that I want to send to 120 people. These people are located in many
areas of the country and DO NOT use Excel very often. Originally with 2003,
we created an addin that had a custom toolbar with a button assigned to a
macro. They would double click the addin and then when they load their CSV
file, the custom button would format it appropriately.
This addin would also work with 2007, copy addin to c:\ double click and
somehow it created a custom menu with the button on it and it worked.

spreadsheet up on another computer and I click on the buttons I
created it takes me to viusal basic to edit. How do I turn this off so
