Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
I have created a PowerPoint slideshow using MS Office 2004. I have
several slides that have images what were copied from Excel (using the
Copy Picture... option by holding down Shift > Edit >Copy Picture...)
then pasted into the PowerPoint file. The images show up great in PPT
2004. When I open the file in 2008 I get the following results: 1)
part of the image is displayed but not complete, 2) the image doesn't
show up at all. Here is a sample of what the files look like in 2004
vs. 2008 (image doesn't show up at all).

As you will see, the 2004 image link will give you an example of a
slide displaying the "Copy Picture..." from Excel. The first 2008
image link will show you what the slide looks like in PPT 2008. The
second 2008 slide image displays the "border" or "frame" of the image
(same slide). I have tried selecting the image in 2008 and then right
clicked to get the contextual menu displaying "Arrange > Bring to
Front" - thinking that maybe the image is behind the slide or
something - results in no difference.
I have head from other threads that people have had issues with screen
shots becoming fuzzing when moving from 2004 to 2008 due to 2008
translating PICT files to PDF format. Not sure if the "Copy Picture"
image is being lost in this translation or not.
I have had many issues with compatibility between Excel 2004 and 2008
and now Powerpoint 2004 to 2008. I would chalk this up to no big deal
if it wasn't for my business. Thanks for any and all your help on
