How to get USB drive real serial number without WMI?
Hi all, i'd like to know how to get the serial number of a USB drive without using WMI.
Possibly the one that doesn't change when you format your drive.

As far as I know you can't... you have to use WMI.

I have just installed the 2008 version but it was happening in my 2004 version too.
When i open a document it doesn't show up / you can't see it.
it is listed under 'window' as being open
have to click click click around and don't even know what i last clicked on to get it to randomly appear, if at all....

Values Files into a MS Access 2003 database. These files were

Here lies the problem. I'm cheap, I want to be paid for every minute that I
work, I do the time cards for work and I'm using Excel to perform the
functions. I have no problem with adding and subtracting the times in single
cells or totalling all of the time. If I come up with a person having 47
hours and 13 minutes how do I get Excel to convert 47:13 to 47.22 so that I
can then multiply the 40 by hourly rate and the 7.22 by 1.5 the hourly rate ?

server installed. We have just inherited another domain (abc.com) and they
would like to have Exchange functionality also. Is there any possibility of

6, 1 thru 9....i just want them to key the 3 or 6 or 9 or whatever and the
print macro refers to it.

Two examples to get you started... and an alternative.
Macro 1 will use the value stored in Sheet 1. No matter which sheet the use
Macro 2 will use the value stored in A1 in whatever sheet happens to be
active at the time.

Sorry abt posting this question many time, but I think I gave a hard
understanding question before.
In my report, I need to get the value of a group of records that
appear the most times.
For example: I have a text "Sushi" appears in my report 10 times,
"Nobashi" appears 20 times, "shrimp" 5 times ---> my desire that is a
textbox show "Nobashi" as result.
Hope this way is easer to understand my problem.

includes times for appointments. In the s'sheet the formatting is for
hh:mm but on merging the seconds also show and this is not required.

that have a value >= 1. The problem is that the cells I have are split
into two ranges:

I have both Office 2003 and Office 2007 installed on my XP Pro machine.
Office 2007 is working just fine, but in the past month or so I see the
Windows Installer preparing to install message every time I start Word,
Excel, Access, or Publishing 2003. All four programs open after a minute
or so; in Word I get an error message: "An error occurred and this
feature is no longer functioning properly. Please run setup and select
Repair." The other three programs do not display such a message. I have
not installed Powerpoint 2003.
