Formatting a variable
I have the following code:
APN As Single
Dim ThisProd As ProdMatrix
tmpThisProd.APN = .Cells(tmpSrcRow, 2)
The variable is supposed to contain the number 9317382120228, but instead

A client of ours in NZ is complaining that date format options for English
(New Zealand) have changed from older versions of excel (they are using 2003)

I would suggest printing the document to pdf.
select handouts and set to 9 slides per page.

John the issue you describe is unknown in any version of Publisher.
I would suggest you need to update your video driver from the website of
your video card manufacturer. Make sure you get the correct version for
your video card and operating system.
