How to increase and decrease indent levels while composing an Entourage message

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

Hello, <br><br>When I am composing an email in Outlook on Windows, and I am working with a bulleted list (or other outline-style list), I can increase or decrease the indent leve by using TAB and Shift-TAB. For example: <br><br>1. Topic <br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;1.1 Subtopic <-- Hit TAB to increase indentation level to X.X <br>
2. Next topic <-- Hit Shift-TAB to decrease indentation level back to X <br><br>However in Entourage, this does not work. HItting TAB simply inserts some spaces. Instead, I have to manually click the &quot;Increase Indent&quot; and &quot;Decrease Indent&quot; buttons. <br><br>Is there an equivalent keyboard shortcut for Entourage for changing the indent level? If not, is there some way I can create one? <br><br>Thanks very much for your help! <br>

You can try using the increase indent icon in the HTML toolbar. Its the
one with the blue arrow.

Entourage's HTLM capabilities are very limited. You might want to create
complex messages in Word.

Options for sending from Word are "Send to Mail Recipient (HTML)" and 'mail
merge to email'. For more info see Word Help:

I'm aware of the blue 'Increase Indent' and 'Decrease Indent' buttons in the toolbar; what I was actually looking for is some way to invoke them with a shortcut key, rather than via the mouse. <br><br>If there's not a built-in shortcut key, does Entourage offer any way of assigning my own custom key to the button actions? <br><br>Thanks, <br>

No, but you can with System Preferences and/or a third party application.

All users that submit messages from authenticated clients such as Outlook or OWA will have an SCL stamped of -1. This ensures that authenticated messages will not be moved to the junk folder...
